Q: Can you ship first class with this bag if I put a box in it?

This size perfectly fits a large flat rate box inside, just don't tell the post office. Using Pirate Ship to print labels it is half the price as flat rate. Listed size with box 13"x13 usually 19 lbs cost $8-$12. Depending on thickness of polybag I'll tape over corners to keep from tearing.

Q: Can i insert a thin piece of cardboard along with a vinyl image and it not get bent?

I would recommend putting cardboard on both sides of image with possibly a piece of bubble wrap on either side. These are not sturdy in that way, they are flexible

Q: Can these be used to ship stuffed animals?

The bags are made of very durable plastic and should be fine for stuffed animals. I've used them for stuffed toys several times, however I had one that had glass eyes and some other decorations that could get crushed with a heavy box on it at the Post Office, so I used a box for that one. I think they work fine for all other stuffed toys.
