MEN'S GRAY SKYTREE GLOVES - Good value lightweight general purpose glove
I can understand why some question the utility of these for gardening - they are thin, offer no protection from sharps, and make no pretense of being waterproof. My rating is based on a different use case entirely. I strongly prefer driving with gloves, and both driving gloves and lightweight general purpose gloves are harder to find than they used to be - at least until I discovered this category of lightweight work gloves last year. I bought these Skytrees in particular because they were inexpensive and looked very similar to some Gorilla Grip (GG) gloves by Grease Monkey that I had from Home Depot, which I liked functionally but had a couple of drawbacks, mainly the garish graphic across the back of the hand. If you are using GG gloves now for driving/general purpose use or are interested in gloves for that purpose, read on - that's how I use these and how I'll evaluate them. Because the GG gloves are readily available at your local Home Depot for inspection, I'll make reference to them here for comparison. The Skytrees have exceeded my expectations. They are in fact nearly identical to the GGs (except gray vs. black), at a noticeably lower price. This glove type has a very thin polyurethane (PU) coating on the palm and inside of the fingers, coming up over the fingertips. Most of the fabric is uncoated, and even the coated areas are somewhat breathable because of the thin coating (check out the inside of a pair of GGs to get the idea), so these are very good warm weather gloves. When driving, the PU provides excellent grip on the steering wheel, but the glove is thin enough that it provides the "feel" to easily operate dashboard controls. I also use them for handling tools, cables, etc., for tasks around the house. These don't seem quite as nicely "fitted" as the GGs, and the light gray color makes the PU more visible than on the black GGs, giving the palms a somewhat "plastic" look that a darker color would obscure, so I was less enthusiastic about them when I first put them on. After a week's use or so, I came to appreciate them a lot more; they do look a bit better than the photos would suggest right out of the bag, and they become more flexible and form-fitting with use.. The somewhat cruder look isn't really noticeable under most circumstances, and a good tradeoff for losing the GG's brightly colored back logo. Compared to another premium lightweight work glove that I like very much, ATG's Maxiflex Ultimate AD-APT (42-874), the Skytrees seem nearly as cool when it's warm, and the Skytree's PU is a bit "slicker" than Maxiflex's nitrile foam coating, making it easier to reach in a pocket for keys, etc. (despite the higher price, I still prefer the Maxiflex for longer distance driving, which is what I reserve them for now, a task for which the near-NASCAR level of text & graphics that ATG slathers over the backs of the hands is less of an issue).I've had these for some months now and haven't worn out the first pair. When they get grungy, I just hand wash them in Ivory liquid and warm water and hang them up to dry (I fear machine washing/drying might shorten the life of the PU, but haven't actually experimented with that). So, these gray men's Skytrees are a good value, comfortable, durable for my purposes, cool in warm weather, both good grip and good sensitivity, and a lack of markings or extreme features that would call attention to them in non-work settings. I like 'em - and at this price it's a pretty low-risk purchase.

Nice Gloves! I got the size S/M
Nice Gloves! I got the size S/M. They fit my husband perfectly and he thinks that they are great. I'm 5'2" tall and they fit me fine except the fingers are all a little long. HOWEVER, that does not bother me. They are light-weight and not bulky. I have been gardening with my bare hands because every other garden glove I have tried are too bulky and get dirty so fast. These feel good on and really do allow your hands to "breath" on the back side. The nitrile coated palm-sides allow me to feel what I am doing but really seem to let the dirt and debris drop away from the glove. This keeps the gloves cleaner for longer. I've had these for a week and love love love them. Unless they suddenly disintegrate I plan to buy more in the future. However that will be a while since we have 7 pair!!!

Very lightweight, yet protective with good grip
I bought these for my husband, who works was a bellman at a large hotel. With COVID, besides wearing a mask daily, these gloves are lightweight, have a good grip and to do not give him a rash. They also protect him from handling items that may have germs/virus/bacteria on them. I throw them in the washer and let them air dry. He loves them because he hardly knows he has them on (he wears them up to 10+ hours a day with no discomfort or sweat) and they do not cling as tightly as a latex glove. (but they are not loose)

Great fit -- Good value
Recently received these so I've only had a chance to use one pair of the seven and have worn them daily on my yard projects. Good quality in a lightweight gardening glove and very comfortable fit. Yes, they do get dirty but everything seems to brush right off leaving hands clean. Thin hands and long fingers have always presented a problem with finding gloves and I'm so glad I found these!

Great gloves, but too small.
I really like these gloves, they are extremely light weight, yet great quality. My only problem is they are too small for my hands. I can still use them, but they are kind of tight. I ordered size XL, which I thought would fit perfectly, but even they are too tight on my hands. I should have ordered size 2XL. But I could not do that, because size 2XL is not available for these gloves. Why Not, Skytree, Why Not?!!!...

My 'Go To' gloves for Covid 19.
I have a pair in my car that I use when I go out of the house to the bank and stores. Very good protection. When I return to the car i take them off and put them on the dashboard palm side up so the UV light disinfects them. I throw them in the wash after a week of using. When we all return to normal living I plan to use these at the gym instead the regular gym gloves where the finger tips are exposed. Never know what other things you can pick up by using the gym equipment.

very comfortable
I love these gloves for work. I use them in manufacturing work not gardening so it may be why they don't hold up as well as I'd hoped but they last for months at a time. I find they fit snug but stretch just enough to keep them comfortable so you can handle tools and not have them in the way. I will buy them again.

Light work only
Very thin material, which makes them more breathable and comfortable, but I don’t know if they’ll last long. The rubberized coating doesn’t have any grip whatsoever, so when trying to pick up items, they tend to slip out of my hands. Good for light gardening (home gardening), not for the more heavy duty work that I’m doing. I’ve gotten many compliments on how they look. Very pretty.
