I received the lights a few weeks ago and only tried one, today I was going to put batteries in the other and I discovered it is missing one spring that holds the battery in place for contact.

These are nice basic LED flashlights, medium sized and powerful.This set includes two flashlights along with battery holders for using 3 x AAA batteries (not included). The flashlights can alternatively be powered using one 3.7V 18650 rechargeable battery (not included). Personally I don't use AAA batteries in my flashlights because I strongly prefer using rechargeable batteries rather than using using disposable ones. My 4-star rating is not a reflection of the lack of batteries or battery charger even though for this price I might have expected those to be included. Someone purchasing this light may already have a 18650 battery and charger, otherwise the better choice may be a light that includes those together in the package, which will likely be less expensive than purchasing them separately.The flashlight has the usual modes - three brightness levels (high / medium / low) as well as a strobe and SOS mode. These are switchable by soft touching the switch at the base of the light. A hard press turns it on and off.As with just about every other flashlight of this type that I have used, these feel very sturdily made, of aluminum alloy. The light zooms with some effort that will probably loosen up over time.There is no special packaging with these flashlights, just a simple box for each, with the seller and product picture shown on the box, and bubble wrap to protect the flashlight inside the box. These would make very good gifts, in my opinion, good stocking stuffers for example.I am giving this product 4 stars. These are very nice LED flashlights and I'm glad to have them and will use them. I've become more attentive to the need to be more critical in reviews and less quick to give 5-star reviews to products that I evaluate. If I find that these flashlights turn out to be really exceptional after I've used them for a while, then I will not hesitate to bump the rating up to 5-stars but that will only be after extended use shows that the product deserves that. I also note that these are not particularly inexpensive although I'm not taking that into account in my rating.The seller, Timlon, is newly established on Amazon, for approximately three months as I write this review, and their customer feedback so far has been very good but is very limited.I received a sample of this LED flashlight set at no cost from the seller and for the purposes of review, and I have no affiliation with either the seller, or Amazon.

We purchased a two-light set. The light is bright.as advertised but the product description is incorrect. The light arrived without any instructions, which for a flashlight we normally wouldn't care. In this case, the lights were supposed to have an SOS and strobe feature. As best as my husband and I could tell, the function was not part of this flashlight. The 'five-mode' is the beam size. If you are looking for a cheap, bright, model, this is your baby. If you want an instrument for an emergency kit, pick another product.

These flashlights are great ! They are incredibly solid and well made and the light output is unmatched by any of my other flashlights. I used old AAA batteries and these lights were brighter than my gigantic led maglite.Adjusting the focus of the beam was easy and precise and the best feature it actually stayed in place. I've tried quite a few other lights that the gentlest bump would knock it out of focus and you'd have to stop doing whatever you were trying to work on and readjust the flashlight again. Having 2 means we now have one for the house and one for the car for an emergency which is great !* I received this item at a discount/free in exchange for my honest and unbaised review.
