Phat Beach ~ Soundtrack

Nice 90's flashback
I totally love this piece. Even tho critics called this soundtrack rather unessential to me its a perfect flashback to the 90's. It definitely reflects that good old flava i fell in love with back in the day. Also i dont have too many Urban movie soundtracks on vinyl so its a great addition to my collection as well.

Good compilation, but one song was missing.
I remember having an interest in buying this after seeing the movie many years ago. While the movie itself wasn't that great, it is KIND OF a guilty pleasure for me, even though there were a lot of problems with it.The soundtrack, however, made up for the movie itself.I have to say that the tracks that I listened to the most were "Like Playas," "Fatal," "Gotta Have Game," "I'm Hungry," and "Up To No Good." I enjoyed some of the R&B tracks like "She's Hollywood" and "Jock'n Me." "You Got To Go" is kind of a cheesy song, but it's fun to listen to, even though it gives off a dated vibe, as this album was released in the 1990s.One problem I had was that the soundtrack was missing the song "SMOOV" that was played in the closing credits. I don't know why it was missing as it was played in a scene in the movie, as well as in the closing credits.

This is one of the worst rap albums eva. I got this when it first came out and was sadly disappointed. This is garbage and the movie aint to far behind it. Don't buy this. It's low budget, has bad beats, the lyrics are bad, and have anybody ever heard of these rappers. We know now why they are unknown. Except for Biz Markie and Eightball & MJG
