ACOPOWER 100w 12v Monocrystalline Solar Panel Module with Connector (Panel Only, Compact Design)

Great solar panel. I have this mounted flat on my roof rack and I have seen as high as 94w from the panel within the two days I’ve used it so far. On average driving around during the day I see a consistent 70w~. 35-50w~ in overcast and 60-85w in good sunlight. (All of the above numbers were while driving around) I’m using it to charge an EcoFlow River Pro 600 and it has no problems keeping it topped off while my portable fridge is running. Very satisfied with the power it pulls and the unit is all black which is hard to find on solar panels. Would recommend.

I’ve been searching for a solar panel solution for the roof rack on my DIY minivan camper. I have battery power station running a 12v fridge freezer, some fans, a small coffee pot, small microwave, a blender and a few other comfort items. So I needed more than the typical 100 watt panel. I looked at 300+ watt panels made for houses, but they weren’t the right size for my application. I finally purchased 3 of the 100 watt black-frame panels from ACO Power. They had good reviews and they look better than any other panels out there. The black frames are very sleek. I got 160+ watts on first test, but the sun was hiding and the angle wasn’t ideal. In full sun directly overhead I was able to get 275+ watts which awesome. Having tested the panels, it was time to mount them. I bolted the panels together (side by side), then mounted a small metal conduit pole to serve as a ‘hinge’ so I can tilt it as needed. I have mounted steel eyebolts on my roof rack that the ends of the poles will slide into. That’s as far as I’ve gotten. I’ll post an update after I finish mounting and do some highway road-tests. But I’m happy with the panels so far. They look great, they don’t weigh too much and they produce plenty of watts.

I got a great deal on these a couple weeks ago, I have only used a couple times to charge my goal zero lithium 400 power bank. However rated at 100w, the most I was able to pull from them was 51watts on bright sunny day, no clouds. I also have a goal zero 100w briefcase panels and most i got from those were 82w same conditions (bright sun, no clouds), so while they look great, and work I'm wondering about efficiency specs, etc. My goal zero briefcase cost me $300, but this panel was under $100 and the briefcase is made up of two 50 watt panels, so i'm still learning about solar and how using multiple panels and how you hook them up (ie. parallel, vs series, etc.) can affect input and what controllers can handle, etc. For the price this 100w was great value, so I will plan to purchase a few more, but wait till they go on sale again. Price seems to fluctuate $80-$100 and occasionally see $15-20 coupons to apply and click to save more. This order after coupons cost me around $65 which is great value, but week later saw they had different coupon and could have gotten for $60, now see back to $100 no coupon so I'll wait, but will buy when on sale...

These are great. Had for one year now and no problem. Output power is great and keeps my battery bank charged. I will purchase no other panel except for these. Absolutely great price. Don't fall for other manufacturers panels. All powers are one of the best in my opinion.

I bought two Acopower 12 volt, 100 watt monocrystalline panels to charge my Ecoflow power stations. I built an adjustable rack so I could easily move them and orientate them correctly to the sun. I connected the two panels in series and expected the typical lower output per panel like many of them but was pleasantly surprised to see between 195 and 207 watts. This was in perfect sunny conditions. Their size and weight is excellent and makes them easier to handle. They look nice and seem well built. I'll update if they start having issues, but so far, I'm very pleased after two months of use. I live in hurricane alley so I am planning to buy two more to double my emergency power.

I bought two of these panels because they are aesthetically pleasing and do not draw attention to themselves as solar panels. I am installing them on the front side of my house so I didn't want something that distracted the eye from the normal look of the house. The satin/semi-gloss finish of the panel merged in well with the black porch so I was well pleased there. As for the performance, they are spot on. Using them in the dead heat of the summer, they become about 15% less efficient baking in the 98 degree heat as compared to their non-black counterparts of similar panels. This is to be expected as all solar panels suffer from being less efficient the hotter they are. I've not seen any deficiencies in workmanship or quality of the build; they stood up to their first pounding of rain as well. Usually the summer is the tougher months for a solar panel and so far I have no complaints. I don't forsee any trouble in the winter, however if anything does arise I'll update the review.

This panel was obviously returned by a customer damaged, then ACOPOWER obviously repackaged the panel and tried to resell it. I can tell you this for certain, because if you look at the damaged corners on the panels, they were covered by the black foam corner protectors you see in the pictures when it arrived, however there was absolutely no damage to the foam protectors whatsoever. Therefore, those corners were damaged like that before the protectors were put on and shipped out. The panels were just ignorantly single packaged with hardly any protection in the box(just the corner protectors). The way you see the box is exactly the way it arrived, rips, holes and all. If the shipper did all that damage to the box, better use a different shipper, however; the damaged corners on the panel, left the seller that way. After opening the box, I took the panel outside to see if it would work, I was willing to overlook the packaging and keep the panel if it worked. I sent pictures of the the sky from when I took it outside and 51 watts from a 100 watt panel at all angles on a clear cloudless day in June....I don't think so. It wasn't until I brought it back in and started to look closer at the panel that I started to see all of the damage on this. You can see damaged corners, edges and bends in the frame. I've requested a refund for this, so now after waiting a good while to receive this junk, I now get to repackage this all back up(and it is all going back in the original packaging and heavily taped, probably as good or better protected than when I received it, I'm not wasting any more of my time or money) and take it to the UPS store and ship it back. Thanks ACOPOWER, I hope you read this. There is no way that ACOPOWER can claim this was done accidentally. I would not recommend this seller to anyone. I rarely leave reviews period, even when I'm not happy with a product, but when I feel as though a seller purposely deals underhandedly, you can bet I'll leave a review for you. The positive reviews this seller has is beyond me. If they are true, then ACOPOWER must have one seriously disgruntled employee who had a bad day.

First off, love the immediate support you get with customer service and technical support. Previously ordered the 60watt Solar Suitcase panels which have been working flawlessly and easy to setup and take down for travelling on the road. I have the need to upgrade to more wattage so I stuck with ACOPOWER products and added a 100watt Mono Solar Panel to the roof along with an aftermarket tilt bracket. Lynn at ACOPOWER sent an adapter to allow both panel assemblies to be hooked up in parallel.. I have no doubt that they should work on my next camping trip. They put out till the sun goes down in the shade. Highly recommend going with ACOPOWER panels along with the support you will get after the purchase.
