This blanket is not exactly cold, but seems to magically suck heat from overheated skin. Yet doesn't chill you when the night isn't so warm. Weird! I find I like to wrap half the blanket around myself and let the rest of it cool, so when the big round me warms up, I can switch. I am autistic and it's slight weightiness and the texture is just amazing and soothing. And as a woman of a certain age, cooling the night hot flushes is great. Its just magical.

So I didn't find this blanket until September :( but am so glad I finally found it. I overheat so bad that even in winter I only use a summer quilt or wool blanket ..... normal quilts are too hot for me. This blanket is thin and has a weightiness to it, feels very different to a standard blanket. It feels cool to the skin and I've found on particularly cool nights that when first getting under it I feel a bit chilly but within a few minutes it feels just right. I have a whole host of blankets and sheets that are supposed to help with temperature control but since getting this I've not bothered with them. Looking forward to seeing if it works as well in the height of summer. I like it so much, I'm going to get another one. I highly recommend it for those of us that are hot stuff!

I am like a radiator normally to a point my girlfriend struggles to sleep next to me sometimes cos she can feel my body heat haha so when it comes to really hot summer nights, I really struggle to sleep even with two fans on. After reading reviews for this blanket I decided to give it a try. It arrived on time, and surprised with how light, thin and silky it is. I could instantly feel how cool it was when I touched it. I decided to wrap myself up in it and see how I went. I noticed after a while my body temperature was cooler, and had my first good night sleep last night in a while because it kept me cool. I have it underneath me and have covers on top and still keeps me cool. There is peace of mind also because it comes with a tag that says it can be refunded if you are not happy with the product, but hell noooo am I giving this bad boy up. I was so impressed, I told my girlfriend. She now has one and absolutely loves it! I don't know what I would do without it now. Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

I love these cooling blankets - one side is cold & the other side is warm but you can also feel the cool come through - I use a 2tog duvet over it but when I’m warm during the night I throw the duvet off & I can cool down but it’s warmer than if you don’t have anything over you - can’t wait to try it in summer!!! It’s a perfect thickness as well!!!

This blanket is worth it's weight in gold for me! It's actually cool to the touch on the silky side and feels cool even in a warm room. I really struggle on hot nights to get any sort of quality sleep. Even though I'm boiling I still need something covering me to sleep. This blanket is perfect. It feels slightly weighted so it's not too fly away like a cotton sheet. And it feels really nice and cool to the touch. Perfect fo those 1/2 weeks of summer we get!

Very good blanket lightweight thin and it's very cooling especially with minimal clothing on and when using the silky side on bare skin is quite a relief - cooling!Was a little sceptical at first but glad I purchased it! Its not a magic blanket so don't expect freezing cold! But its gave me and my husband a better nights sleep especially when it's very hot and humid! I would recommend it.

What I like about this blanket is that you can use it on both side, plain or patterned side.Fabric seems nice and of fair quality and stitches are all there and no loose stitchRegarding cooling, yes if you place the blanket patterned side next to the skin , it feels cool and silky and stays cool but the con is due to being slippery it falls off .I have found another use ad it is so light in the evening while sitting outside I use it as a wrapper.It washes well and I like the fact that there is a manufacturer guarantee with it for another 6 months.

Nice weight to this blanket.On opening the blanket it had a strange smell that I didn’t like. So washed it and tumbled dried , as have no washing line!Word of caution: with tumble drying even on low it caused the cotton side to shrink slightly.The silky side of the fabric does feel cold to the touch .But for me doesn’t work, when I have a hot flush . It just makes the blanket warm !!Wish I bought the bigger blanket so that it fitted the whole of my 4ft bed , as I find it rather slippery and moves .I do like the weight though and use it with a very low tog quilt .
