It makes me very proud to find stories on Ukrainian Canadians, especially a woman, and this book is a welcome addition. Natalie has captured the life of a woman who worked tirelessly to give Ukrainians in Cananda an identity in their new world and persevered in a time an region where the battle was up hill for a woman to become educated and a leader of her community. A fantastic read!
