I have always wanted some sort of easy inconspicuous solution of being able to see my phone while driving without having to have a hand on it (I drive a 6 speed) so I can play with my bluetooth music or see who a text is from, ext. These looked pretty cool so I decided to try them out. At first I was worried that I was going to have to stick a metal plate to the back of pretty phone but then realized that it would fit inside the battery cover or phone case which was really cool. So now I still have a good looking phone but I can magnetically hang it to my dash when I want and nothing looks goofy or obtrusive. It is hardly noticeable, even in a little sports car. The metal plates are very sticky and thin. The magnets are pretty dang strong. Holding the Volport in my hand with the phone attached magnetically, I had to shake it really hard to get the phone to fall off. All in all, I think it is a good product and will make my life a little easier. Sorry I cant take a picture with my phone attached bc I only use my phone for pics.Full disclosure: I received this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

these work great as a magnet and keeping the phonw on the vent but one problem, you cant have the ac on in the car and have you phone on the vent too. the phone gets cold and then the phone wont work until it warms up again. so if you can turn the ac off on the vent then it will be great but i turned the vent off and air still comes out it and the phone got cold like frozen. But they do work to hold the phone there.I was contacted after this review and they were great and offered 2 different types of magnets that stick to the car. Way better than putting your phone in the ac and the moisture will mess up the phone. I was sent a replacement and i have not installed it yet for i have been very busy but as soon as i get a chance i will and i will let you know how that goes thank you for all your time.I give 5 starts because this company has went out of there way to make me happy and i never asked them too. they are awesome for doing that. It's very easy to use and super convenient. I've only used it a few times, but it has already been complimented by two other people and I'm planning to give the second car mount that came in the pack to my mom. Due to my case being one of those thick wallet ones, I have to attach the magnet directly onto my phone. My number one concern was that the magnet would somehow screw with it, but I have had absolutely no problems yet and am very satisfied. It holds the phone very securely but not to the point where it is difficult to take it off. And the best part is that if I don't like its position, I can just move the car mount to a different position on the vent.Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick and easy car mount that goes onto an air vent.

Overall the product is good but it turns out the concept did not work for us for two different reasons.1) I drive a Jeep Wrangler and these do not work well with the Jeep’s round adjustable vents - it does not hold the phone firmly in place and just ends up turning every which way.2) My husband changes his iPhone on the charger cradle - it sits in the cradle and charges without wires. Loves it. However with this type of charging he cannot put a magnet on the back of his phone as it interferes with the charging process.Just something to think about before ordering - otherwise the product worked fine.

I wanted to like this car mount; I really did. But in the end it just didn't work for me. The idea is that the fins on the mount will hold it to an air vent on the car, and a metal plate attached to the back of the phone (or lodged between the phone and its case) will be held in place by a magnet on the mount. So there are 2 places where things can go wrong: (1) the magnetic attraction between the mount and the case may be too weak to hold the phone to the mount; (2) the friction fit between the mount and the air vent may allow the mount to fall out.In my case, both things went wrong. A lot. For the first couple of years, I tolerated its tendency to lose its grip once or twice each trip. But it got to the point where either the mount or the phone was falling out only a few seconds after it was installed. Perhaps the combination of car (Mazda CX-5) and phone (Samsung Galaxy J3, in a 2-part case) contributed to the problem, and maybe a phone without a case in a different car would work (which is why I gave it more than one star), but for me it was useless. Caveat emptor.

The magnet is great. The vent clip can be a little tricky, depending on the vehicle.

so easy to use, the phone stays put and comes off with minimal effort. the only issue i have had is some cars have air ducts with wider vents which make it difficult to install.

I use this in my air vent to hold my cell phone while driving. It's especially helpful when navigating a map app. It sticks very well with the magnet that is provided. I used the smaller round one on my phone. You cannot tell the magnet is attached to the phone because it is placed underneath the case of the phone. Perfect for my use. I gave the extra one to my good friend and she really likes it too. I would buy again if needed.

I was surprised how well this held on my car's vent. The magnet is plenty strong. I use it for my Garmin GPS and I haven't had a single issue since.I bought a cheaper mount prior to this one and it would constantly fall out. Finally I can have my expensive gps on the vent instead of on the front window where it can fall off and break.

Performed as expected, not much more to say really. Have been using for a couple of weeks and have used 3/4 times a week.I put the magnet on the phone cover rather than the phone (Google Pixel) itself and it isn't overly bulky and doesn't add much to the profile as it is quite slim - my phone case is black so doesn't stand out at all. The attachment to the air vent it quite discrete. Phone holds in place well and haven't had any issues with slippage of the plate. Can judder slightly when going over bumpy roads but that's probably more due to the air vents and hanging a heavy phone from them than the product itself.

Helpfully it has 2 orientations on which it can be fitted, that allows snug fitting to different thicknesses of air vent blade.The magnet strength is very good, allowing safe attachment of even large phone without risk of becoming detached during cornering.As with any vent mount, there's a penalty to be paid in terms of permissible movement of the vent, and this is no exception. However, it's a small cost, given the superb functionality of the item.Great value for money and unhesitatingly recommended.

I have been using this product for several months as of now and i like it soo much, its easy to use and easy to setup on your car AC fan. two things to keep into consideration. this items wont work on some certain cars due to the manufacturing design, the other thing is, the magnet part is too strong 3M, so if you dont wanna damage your phone if you have decided later to remove it then just place it inside the phone protection cover.
