This works pretty good. The video it recommends watching on their website does not work so you have very limited instructions. With that said you done need a lot to figure it out and use it. This works best on very ripe watermelons. The extra tools were a nice touch to help do a couple fancy cute things.I do want to and have to state that I received this product at a discount. I saw this advertised and thought it was a great idea.Actually I find that it is easier to cut the rind off with a knife. There is much less waste. This cutter is bulky and you need big arm muscles to use it. Seeing someone demonstrating it on TV is misleading. It does not "easily" cut the melon.As I said, I get much better looking pieces with my knife. You can look on YouTube to see different methods of using a knife. This tool has one use only. I can find other utensils to take up space that are more versatile.

This is actually really easy to use. The pictures are from our first attempt with a small watermelon. The slices were nowhere near perfect but still it was easier than using a knife. The rubber grip helps a lot if you get juice on your hands and the whole thing feels solid. The melon baller was ok but would actually work better on a cantaloupe or something firmer since it's a bit on the small side.I received this in return for a review. Its doubtful you will get picture perfect results without a lot of practice but it does make it better and easier.

This works great!!! I have used it a couple of times and it certainly speeds up the watermelon cutting process.
