Q: is the height adjustable?

The vertical height is not adjustable, but the angle of the book rest is adjustable so the object can be in a mor flat position or it may be in a more vertical position. Hope this helps.

Q: Is the Jasmine model the only one with a magnet in the middle?

There isn't a magnet. There are rotating clips on the bottom ledge that function as page holders to keep your book open, or to keep a pile of papers from falling off.

Q: Can this handle the weight of your hands resting on it, moving the book and turning the pages?

I would not rest my hands on it because it will slide from the bottom. Maybe resting them lightly

Q: What is the warranty policy? The black stand piece slips behind the ramp and keeps doing it. Basically a piece is broken and now it wont stand.
