Purchase this, and was surprised by the quality. I was skeptical based on the price. It is surprisingly Ridged, the wheels are nice and true. Operates well right out of the box. Moves 18 gauge Easley . I’ve been using an English wheel for about 20 years and certainly am not a novelist. I would recommend purchasing. I did, however, weld all of the joints together. And added top racing for good measure. Definitely a good starter.

This tool is constructed with good quality steel and cast iron, and it works well. I was able to clamp it to my welding table, which I prefer over the stand because of the welding table's weight/stability.My main complaint about the tool is that it's fitted with a non-standard air connector - bigger than 1/4" NPT and smaller than 3/8" NPT. I tried to find an adapter at my local hardware store (which has a pretty decent selection of adapters), and couldn't find one. Instead I cut off the fitting that came from the factory and installed a plumbing fitting plus air compressor fitting (see photos - first one shows how the fitting that came with the tool was a strange size, and the second photo shows the part I replaced it with).Also, the instructions said they're supposed to be two holes in the adjustable pole where you can place the stopper pin, but there's only one (which means it's less adjustable for different anvil heights). Was this a manufacturing defect or incorrect instructions?

I had high expectations after reading reviews, and I was also planning on getting a KAKA Bead Roller. The welds had open areas / not complete / surfaces were scratched in multiple places, not to mention the welds should have been ground down and flush (as pictured in the KAKA images).When I initially returned the item, there was a restocking fee, but I believe that has been removed.I'm only giving a 2-star Review since I did not use the unit. After seeing the welds and general construction, I did not want to test out the unit, based on the low quality control.

Great product, I have put it to use and I’m happy, the fitting was swapped out for air, but o would buy again.

I previously built my own english wheel, a real monster. i wanted a smaller one, but not necesarily a bench top. this unit came with all the smaller anvils as well. i think its reasonably well built and worked for my needs just fine. i fabricate vintage race car parts. i am happy with purchase

Unit arrived exactly as described. Assembly very straightforward, better than expected for a mid priced import. Inclusion of several Anvil wheels made this the obvious choice over lower priced (HF, Northern, etc. comparables.). As a beginner, this seems like a good unit to get started with. Downside: shipping took a lot longer than expected. This was partly due to weather, which is clearly beyond the sellers’ control; however communication could have been better. All said, would purchase again.

my 1st try with one of these tools, am able to smooth out dished/rounded panels that were damaged and bent real bad! works as expected. delivery was also good for a tool large and heavy. also have removed the the hammer assembly to try my hand at free-handed planishing, seems to do that as well, patience is the name of the game here, dont go aggressive!

The air hammer is a piece of crap. Very weak and stalls a lot.
