The phone is good in quality. But as compared to the same item i ordered last year, this one is not so good.

Work as expected

My original review was 5 stars and I am changing it to 1 star only after 2 weeks of using the phone. Upon receipt of the phone, my internet phone service (8x8) had to update and program it properly. This took quite sometime for them to troubleshoot and finalize, but after a full day of provisioning by their tech support dept, the phone worked great. I went ahead and gave the 5 starts since it worked great and with clear audio. 2 weeks later (today) the ethernet outlet stopped working. Now that I am looking further into this phone model, apparently this is a common issue with this model.Between the extreme phone provisining needed and the ethernet outlet completely stopping working, I am returning this phone today. I have been out 2 full days now (a day 2 weeks ago and now today) due to this phone. Due to my frustrations with this particular phone, I have now purchased a completely different model (VVX400) that is known for its durability and long lasting features from my internet phone service provider.

I was looking for a phone to use with a cloud PBX service, and was interested in saving a little by buying from Amazon and programming myself rather than having the provider do it for me (and charge quite a lot more).Overall, this is a great phone. It feels high quality, the buttons are easy to use, and it has all the features I wanted.The screen is very readable and I have no problems with it at all -- but the resolution is really low and the text is very pixelated. I don't mind in the sense that I didn't want to spend another franklin to get a better screen...but all the same seeing a low res LCD panel on anything in 2015 is like taking a trip down memory lane--so one star off for that. Should the screen dissuade you from buying this product? No! It's a great phone and works brilliantly, so go for it!
