3A current, make sure your type-A receptacle is compatible
Great product for the price, it does exactly what you'd expect and rapidly charges my Nexus 5X.However, this is advertised as pulling 3A current! This is important as it does not meet the specifications of USB type-C. Only use this with receptacles capable of providing 3A or you will risk damaging that product (the risk is on the type-A end, like a wall adapter. Your phone/tablet is not at risk). I got this at a discount for an honest review.

This cable works great. Plugged into a usb 3 port on my laptop and on my nexus 5x it showed as "charging rapidly". The USB Type-c side was snug but easy to pull out of device. Cable may be a little thick but I like this as it feels more sturdy in case something gets set on top of it it doesn't feel like it would break the internal wires. Great cable, does the job.
