Wonderful!
I love this idea! I used this light attachment on top of a medium size Mason jar and filled it with quartz crystal points. The beauty of this is you can fill your jar with anything and it looks great. Works real well too. Quality is also very good.

Great buy
The price was just right and it was so easy to make the lamp. The jar lamp looks great and works great. It was also delivered really fast. I am very happy with this product.

great product for the price
I made an inexpensive pinecone-filled Mason Jar lamp for the kitchen in my "ski chalet" home (the most expensive component of this lamp was the shade). This lamp kit is designed for a regular mouth Mason jar, but I placed it on a wide mouth 1/2-gallon (64 ounce) Mason jar by inserting this lamp base into the wide mouth Mason jar metal ring. Easy peasy!

Not sure it's worth $16 each...
These are really neat if you're making mason jar lamps, however please note they only fit the "regular" mouth jars (although I'd call them 'small mouthed'). The items themselves are simple and do work for simple craft projects.

I will use it anyway but THERE IS NO ATTACHMENT ...
I will use it anyway but THERE IS NO ATTACHMENT TO ADD A SHADE AND THE LID WILL ONLY FIT A VERY SMALL MASON JAR. I was hoping to use the large mason jar to make a lamp filled with sea shells. Can only use a small jar and I do not want to spend more money on something that might attach a shade. I don't see where you can attach something. NO INSTRUCTIONS COME WITH THIS

Cheaper method
Instead of spending $20 or more why not just use a cheaper alternative. That's what I did and I am satisfied with my choice. I put this on a mason jar filled with blue acrylic gems and it's very creative looking and different. Works and functions great no problems yet.I would recommended!

Not what I expected
The bulb is NOT contained in the jar like this one: [...]Instead, the jar serves as the base. The bulb comes out the top. I need some sort of lamp shade in order to conceal the naked bulb, which is not what I wanted. I just wanted a small jar with a lightbulb in it. I looked everywhere for a place to contact the seller, as I really hate reviews where people just complain and badmouth the product. The pic here doesn't show the kit with a Mason jar. So this crappy review is for the customer who wonders, "How will this look with my jar?"

This adapter worked great for me
This adapter worked great for me. I used an early 1900s blue 1/2 gal. Ball jar, filled with Lake Superior agates. I bought the best low-usage 15-year bulb I could find. Re-using a 40 year old shade and bulb fixture from when I grew up makes the whole thing pretty cool.
