This book is from a 1991 manuscript by Dr. Hawkins. This is a great book on SUCCESS. This book is NOT about spiritually. It want to know about spirituality then read Dr. Hawkins other books on spiritually.Success is for you, has a completely different prospective on success than any other book I have read on success.I have dealt closely with many people who were at the very top of their fields. From prodigies in different fields to world champions. It was not just their abilities but other qualities that allowed them to be at the very top of their fields.Dr David Hawkins describes these qualities in ways we can apply them in our lives. There is no formula for success. You become successful as a result of what you have become. Which is exactly my experience with people who were at the very top. As Dr. Hawkins explains they became sucessful because they loved what they do and that is contagious. Success is not just about making money and becoming famous.In Chapter 6 he talks about money. "money is in fact a substitute for the satisfaction that truly successful people get out of every job or operation that has gone well for them."This book really just plants the seeds. In time they sprout into you having a satisfying, enjoyable, and successful life. That's why if you want Success then read this book not just once but several times a year and do what he says. Then don't be surprised when people say you have "got it"

It is a blessing to read a book on success from an enlightened teacher because the insights comes from direct seeing, and to me they are spiritual.I am still reading the book, and getting ready to apply several of the insights, but wanted to share this excerpt:"Success comes about automatically from knowing where to look. Not what to look for, but where to look. We do not look at what we have, nor at what we do, but at what we are. Once we find within ourselves what we've been searching for, we won't have to bother looking "out there."The closest connection between things in the unconscious mind, strangely, is the 180-degree opposite. We get the answers to a lot of problems if we merely turn around the cart and horse. If we can suspend for an instant our belief systems about cause and effect and presume for the sake of the exercise that are reversed, the answer will reveal themselves in instant. We get the "aha" feeling."If you want to change your state of being to one that understands and embodies success, I recommend this book!

Thank Goodness there was a title still available in this genre to present the "secrets" of success that have been hiding in plain sight.In "Success Is for You," David Hawkins presents a refreshing, heart-centered approach to success that is both thoughtful and easy to read. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Hawkins seems to have enjoyed uncommon clarity about human nature, and a great sense of humor.The book affirms the things we intuitively know about living happily and successfully, and highlights their conspicuous absence from our shared social experience. It describes success as an inner state of heart and mind that is other-centered, eager to help, and supportive of life.Apparently, Hawkins spent a lot of time in restaurants, waiting and contemplating common sense in the delivery of customer service. Many of his principles are presented in the context of business with the inference that everyone has customers and can serve life. Indispensable for executives, business owners and the self employed, this book will inspire any student of human nature, happiness, and success in life.

This book is a primer on success in the 'material world,' and shows the power of being integrious. It affords a good starting point and the necessary basis to begin to be more aware. One sees the examples he uses in the journey through this life and these are great teaching tools. As we grow in integrity in society (collective consciousness), we influence all of society on some fundamental level. Overall, it points to truth and the power of living per the Golden Rule--for the sake of humanity including ourself (in the Oneness). The presentation of this book in society after Dr. Hawkins' transitioning, is so valuable. I hope it is widely read and acclaimed as it can help set the stage for cultural ethics and stability.Even though I've read all of his other books and continue on the spiritual path with Doc's recorded lectures and teachings, this book is a helpful reminder of how to live life, and it is most refreshing.

This is a book about being a success in business, not a spiritual how-to for enlightenment. I am a long time student of Dr. Hawkins, and I dearly love the man. He is very real and can be cranky sometimes. In this book he is his true New York, in-your-face self, and tells it like it is. In the world of business, coming from your heart means being customer-centered, not enlightenment-centered, and his words are true wisdom. If you want his spiritual teachings, go to some of his other books. I think Letting Go is the best, and I have read them all!

I am a huge fan of Dr. Hawkins books and this is another great book. This book articulates intangible concepts to letting go of the need to have the success, but the true success comes from within. This book suggests to discover the power of success within you. This book may be a difficult read if you are not into psychology and self-improvement.

I just don't understand the negative reviews on this book. If you want a spiritual book then there are about 10 other books on it. This is a business book about Success with a capital S. I regularly reread this book whenever I find myself yearning for the bannas. It completely changd my life and set me on a path to uncover real success and something I was passionate about.

Hey, I have read this book within a month or two a couple times. Normaly you do not want to read a book over and over again and also normaly other books provide a "how to" manual. Well this time hawkins explains in a very entertaining and sometimes funny but still scientifical way how to be, in order that succes is just at your "green thumb". And with my 5 stars I can verify that. It is realy easy to be succesfull and more buffeling if your not after reading this book and having an internal work on oneself. Its not that hard to have that internal work because throu out this book he circulates the same point which he wants to convey. Like and airplane circulating the same spot and slowly something builds up in you until you go "zingo" and "get it". After that it is just joyful to read it further or again and again. Recommend it definitly. Go ahead and buy 3 of it :) Give it somebody as a present which will be appriciated :).

Incrível a simplicidade e a profundidade que o Dr David Hawkins consegue passar o seu conteúdo em um tema com tantas facetas diferentes, ele foi simples e direto. Recomendo fortemente!

I enjoyed the theme of this book but it wasn't comparable in quality and finesse to other books this author has written.

Read many business books but this one really stood out. Dr Hawkins was truly extraordinary person!
