My first impression when I received this set and saw how it was presented was that it would make a lovely gift...but I'm keeping these items for myself! This set is excellent for full body exfoliation, both in and out of the shower, and I'll talk about the pros and cons of each piece separately.1. Mitt: I first used the rough side of the mitt to buff up in the shower and found the coarser terry loops to be both gentle and efficacious for skin sloughing. The other side of the mitt features finer terry looping and would be ideal for application of liquid bath soaps--soft enough for sensitive or a child's skin. Because this is a mitt, there is a "handedness" to it so if you may have to use your off hand to scrub up with: right hand for the scrubby side, left hand for the finer side. The downside to the material being thick and substantial is that it doesn't dry very fast. Between uses, you may want to hang this outside the bathroom or throw it in the dryer to retard microbial growth...this is not something you're going to want to leave in the shower stall.2. Dry brush: If you're unfamiliar with this spa practice, google a few articles to get a sense of how to do it. I'm dry brushing to exfoliate, not for any lymphatic benefit. I have moderately sensitive skin (prone to dryness, dermatographia and mild seasonal eczema), and found these bristles best for my legs and arms--they were a bit harsh for my torso (front and back). I like to dry brush and then apply oils/moisturizers as i don't want to have to clean bristles. Even so, you'll see how effective this method of skincare is if you dry brush and then flick the bristles in the light to reveal just how many dry skin cells you're getting rid of (ew, but again, effective!). The only detraction is the long handle can be a bit awkward if you're sloughing, say, your shoulders. Massage nubs are a bonus. Bottom line: I think you'll be happy with this set whether you choose to keep it or gift it.

Brush arrived with a dent in the massager side I thought would eventually pop out but it didn't. The brush is of 'OK' quality.

The bristles on this got squished in fairly quickly.

This is such a wonderful bath set for anyone, as a gift, but I'm keeping this one for myself. I love the wooden handle, easy to hold, and lo g enough to reach everywhere, especially your back. The glove is great for your arms,legs etc....exfoliating your skin is such a great feeling. Everyone has dry skin and cellulite somewhere. Using this daily gets rid of the dry skin, makes it healthy again and very smooth. It also will help break up cellulite. I have a little on the back of my thighs and it has really helped break it up and just about get rid of it. Both the brush and the glove are so easy to use and takes very little time. Unlike the ones you can buy at a department store, this set has all natural boar bristles that will last a very long time, and the handle doesn't come off, the way they all should be. It also comes with a nice storage bag so when you are done using simply put in bag so it all stays together. Your skin will love you for this!! I really like my Maxpro Body Brush Bath set. It comes with a mitt that is a washcloth on one side and on the other side is a little bit rougher. I plan to use that for washing the kids. The back/body brush/washer thing on the other hand - that is mine. I plain to use that for washing myself. The bristles are soft enough and the other side of it has massage nodules that feel really nice when used on the skin. The handle is wooden and very sturdy. It has a string on the end of the handle for hanging - if you want. The bag is nice for gift giving. I am happy with it. It would make a nice gift as well. i don't think this is meant for scrubbing ur body. esp the back. the bristles are too hard. felt like my skin came off as the brush went over my skin.... ouuuuuuuch

Feels so good! I love this product. The bristles are perfect for exfoliating and the little nub things are really good for massaging. Its so nice that that the glove has two washing sides. I just wish it didn't fit just one hand. They all have loops on them for easy hanging in the shower.Over all its a really nice and quality product.
