Dumas Station"Walla Walla Reds" Estate Cab & Merlot II Mixed Wine Pack, 2 x 750 mL

This was a gift for a connoisseur who said it was fabulous! It is sooooo good, he's buying a case.

I have tasted several vintages of both the cab and merlot and they are consistently very good. Even had the cab at a very fine steak house in Seattle with a few friends and all had their first taste of Dumas Station. They were very pleased as it was full bodied and well balanced. Wines from Dumas Station are not readily available where I live so I like to have some in my cooler to take to parties, to give as gifts and of course to drink!

Both of these Washington wines were excellent! This bold Estate Cab had dark richness of a California Cab with a lot of complexity...delicious. The Merlot was unexpectedly full-bodied with a nice balance and great finish. I think one of the best Merlots, and Wine Spectator agreed with a +90 score.

Cab is my favorite, but the Merlot was surprisingly good too. Try them both.
