Puppy Linux Live CD + WiFI 802.11n 150Mbps USB Adapter

This wifi adapter has wonderful range, I pick up way more networks than my default wifi card. I bought it to use with Linux Mint 15, as I was unable to get wifi (windows wifi card wasn't compatible). I plugged it in and it works with no issues. No need to install extra drivers or software, it just works. I tried the Puppy live disk, but it just isnt my favorite distro. I will stick to Mint, because its pretty amazing. I have had the chance to test this adapter with live disks of other distros (Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Zorin, Peppermint) and it works fine with all of them. It is definitely fast, and I may even buy another one in the future. I highly recommend.

Small operating system with a kick on older computers

This LiveCD booted on my oldest 400 mhz laptop without a glitch and connected with my old 802.11b/g wireless out of the box. It contains an office suite that is easy to use-just wish it would auto configure CUPS drivers for attached printer.

Really easy setup. Removed Windows to install this OS. On the internet right away. I think I am really tired of Microsoft and need something affordable. This seems to fit my budget.

Puppy Linux is a good product if you ever have a problem with the operating system on your computer. Just change the bios in your computer at startup, and use an external USB DVD/ CD drive to install puppy Linux. It will override your current OS, and install itself and it is very easy to use.

Fast service & worked flawlessly. Highly recommend this item to anyone needing a small, wireless device that plugs into a USB port & includes Puppy Linux Install CD.

I use mint on my best laptop and find the operating system easier to use.Also the laptop using Puppy is an older laptop and maybe this is the problem.

This device was wonderful. It was easy to install, even if you didn't use the CD. What a great device, just fits into the USB and works right away.
