At first I was looking to buy material to make my own netting for my fascinator plus headband but the material was too expensive or the shipping costs were too high. In addition, I had no idea how to even make it! Then I saw this, and it was problem solved! Because this netting is a separate piece, as is my silver headband and black fascinator (on Amazon the fascinators are sold by ACTLATI and the sparkly, adjustable headbands are sold by HIPSY), I can easily take everything apart and do it all over again using different colored fascinators and headbands, or hats, using the SAME piece of netting. What a money-saver! This item was generously sized so I wrapped the excess over the fascintor, then tucked it into the headband, and it was a perfect fit. I'm wearing the headband across my forehead (think 1920"s flapper style). This netting comes with two decorated black-beaded DURABLE metal combs to secure beneath/ behind/ under your headband or hat. I did iron gently using an iron with a cotton cloth OVER the netting so as not to melt it or detach the halved black beads which are glued on (these make up the black dots). The black dots are not part of the netting fabric. The netting appears to be made of nylon and it has some flexibility top to bottom but not side to side however it is plenty big overall. I'm so glad I found this. I'm going to a dressy party tomorrow and I can't wait to wear it.
