The size is great, the brightness is great, & it's great that it's rechargeable.The first light I received had very short battery life (on full brightness, it lasted just 54 minutes from a full charge). I reported the issue to the seller who said that they'd identified an issue with the battery, & would send me a replacement. The new unit lasted 1hr 55min - twice as long as the first :)While it isn't quite the "lighting time: 5 hours" listed in the description, considering the extremely small size & light weight, I think this is probably the best balance out there if portability is a priority.To the seller: thanks for following up, & replacing the first problematic unit!

I was surprised at how small this light was when it arrived. However, it is very bright and feels solidly built. Overall, a great product that exceeded my expectations.Pros:The switch has a nice, positive click to itThe hook flips out easily and is large enough to fit around larger branchesThe light is pretty bright. Certainly bright enough to play cards by around a picnic table camping (which is what i bought it for). It is not so bright that it blinds anyone.It charges fast and the battery lasted as long as I needed it to (although I didn't measure or test it).Cons:I only wish it had left off the strobe functions or had a separate with for that. It's a bit annoying to press multiple times to cycle it on and off from the preferred setting. i didn't remove a star for that as it was clear that is how it was designed and that feature might appeal to some people.

I don't think the battery is even 1200 mah.A fully charged battery lasts for about 4 hours on the lowest, constant on, white light setting. This was much less time than I expected. Also the light's diameter is 2.75" not 2.6". This fact prevented me from putting it in some candles holders I was hoping to light up.The light charged from the wall in about 20 minutes and from a computer in less than an hour (I didn't pay close enough attention).

This arrived the day of an event I was working, already charged it came. Light weight, a light from the looks you would expect a dim light, not the case here, this light you won't be disappointed.Secured it to a tree at the fork in the road for the event for the duel parking areas and on the slow strobe mode, was easily seen through light trees from a bend in the road at 150 yards. Ran in on slow strobe for 5 hours continuous, hardly used the battery based on how fast it chared afterwards.A bit before the even ended, I ordered 3 more if that says anything about this light.I'm extremely picky when I buy LED lights and these I fell in love with.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because the battery lasts for about one hour or less. But it works for what I need it for. Also, you can charge it while using it. So it's still a pretty cool light

I want to give it a 5 star but unhappy . I want to LOVE this but until I am able to see the flashlight lights more than 10 minutes, I am unhappy. It came charged and I plugged in before my 15 yr old's camping trip. In another review, it said when it is fully charged, it lights up green. I never saw that so its either not charging enough or defective. Aside from that, it has many purposes I can see our family can use.

Battery life is pathetic, about a half hour. Three stars because they can run off a usb power bank. Generally better off using the AAA version, they last several hours.

I have not used this yet outside so I am not sure how long the battery will actually will last. However, it does charge fast and the light is nice and bright.
