Baby'O Women's Basic Stretch Cotton Knit Panel Maxi A-Line Skirt

The length on this is great, a true maxi. Unfortunately, it is not a very wide cut. This makes doing some things impossible in it. The biggest problem, however, is the waist. The skirt narrows at the hips and waist (I am a skinny person, so it's not me). The waist has to sit high in order to give the hips more room. The skirt also "rides up" when you sit down. The worst part is the lack of a waistband. At the top of the skirt is an extremely narrow band of elastic. It is always cutting into me. Not because it is too small around me, but because it is so thin. By the afternoon I have to take it off because of the pain. Why won't companies spend a few extra dollars and put in wider elastic??? It is SO much more comfortable.I would have returned the skirt e Dept for the lack of anything else out there. The thickness of the fabric is nice. If Baby O would make this more of an a-line cut with a 2-3 inch waistband, I'd buy at least half a dozen.

Very glad I found this store. I've been looking for a maxi black skirt for quite a while. This one is slightly large in the waist, but works OK if I tuck in my shirt. I'll probably get more of the different colors.

made from good, slightly heavier fabric, drapes well, look fantastic. I bought the pink, wonderful color. Will buy again!

This skirt is well worth the price! I ordered the pink, and the color (as another reviewer pointed out) was really, really, pretty- It's a great bright grown up pink that's very wearable. The sizing was also extremely accurate. Where normally "fits waist 27-30" means fits "26-29 with stretch" this skirt is actually 27" in circumference at the top. I also plan to hem the skirt quite a bit as the length is clearly meant for heels (I'm tall and mostly legs and this skirt skims the floor when I'm in flats). Overall, though, I think the price is quite fair for what you're getting (good material, flat-stitched seams, straight sewing, USA made), and there's enough material that if you hem it you could also make yourself a matching crop top or something and be super trendy ~~Not sure I'll buy this particular skirt again but I'd definitely consider another item from Baby O in the future as I like several other of their designs.

This is a nice skirt, material is nice, BUT, it is long I am 5ft3 and it drags the ground. I have a long torso, short legs so that might have something to do with it. It is snug, not tight, machine wash but should not be dried. I ordered a Large, hips 44 waist 34. I am wearing it today with the weather in Texas cold (44 degrees) and it is heavy enough with a pair of cuddle duds on to walk around outside. I am considering buying another one , but will wash it one more time to decide.

It was somewhat large but that was exactly what I was looking for. I just had abdominal surgery, a radical hysterectomy, and the incisions were still tender two weeks after when I had to go back to see the surgeon. I was at a loss as to what I could comfortably wear. I saw this skirt and ordered it in hopes that it was as loose as it appeared. It was perfect. I'm only 5'4" and usually have to hem everything but this time, I was able to wear the waist above the incision and the length was just right. It is nicely made, the material is a nice knit, not too thick and not too thin. I thought I looked very stylish with pretty tunic sweater over it. Thank you for the quick delivery. The timing of that was perfect, too. It arrived the day before my appointment. I'm going out with some girl friends this weekend. My first real outing post surgery and I plan on wearing the skirt again.

The material was nice and thick. Good for a casual skirt, sort of like a sweatshirt type material. It runs large.
