It's a def yes as far as a recommendation for this cheese grater if you are looking for a small handheld grating tool as an addition to your kitchenI do have to say I purchased this Cheese Grater from Private with a promotional discount. It arrived quickly and was packaged appropriately for shipment. OK I missed the bit at the end of the description that says it comes in "Random Assorted Colors." As a dyslexic I gave up reading the description once I got to the list of cheeses that can be grated by a cheese grater. Anyway, despite all the pictures showing a red grater that would have matched my other kitchen stuff, I got one in a ghastly shade of green. But the reason for the 3 stars is something else. Many reviews complained that the grater is too sharp. Mine was blunt. On the up side, it is made of very good materials which allowed me to file of the edges with my dremel. but it's still green.

The plastic frame around the grater cracks under moderate stress, and eventualy breaks. Note that, once the frame breaks, the extremely sharp edges of the metal grater are exposed: they'll slice your finger wide open.

I eat salad every day. One of these are just the thing for grating cheese on my salads and not taking up alot of room in the dishwasher or drawer. I got 2 in case one was in the dishwasher dirty. Sturdy made.

Great little grater...it's very sharp, and handles good chunks of cheese for its compact size. Fits in my trailer drawer...maybe I wish the handle wasn't quite so fat, but it's comfortable!
