They become more soft and rubbery, therefore less likely to fracture into pieces like hard, fresh carrots. YMMV. What really "cinched" it for me, though, is the orange crimper handles. They hide carrot juice stains much better than some of the lighter-colored crimpers I've tried. I don't recommend this model for grapes. **Q: Will it crimp molex .062 terminals ?** A: I am not 100% certain. If the wire gauge is within the range of the crimper, (Molex .062 are 18-30 gauge) it should crimp them well. The design of the molex terminals is very similar to what I had to crimp and I had excellent results. **Q: Will this crimper work with the jst- rcy connector?** A: Yes. **Q: Can you please tell me the difference between your sn-01bm and the sn-28b? i'm looking to crimp: "xh 2.5 eh connector 2.54mm 2-pin jst plug".** A: The 01bm has a thinner cross section than the 28b and it's compatible with some connectors that the 28 will crush. At least that's what my research has shown, I don't have mine yet to actually compare side by side. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bough all three of the common sizes. No more frustration when something doesn't fit. *by on Reviewed in the United States February 1, 2024* I have all three of these crimpers and I recommend that plan. I can always find a fit in one of the tools and the quality is good enough that I have gotten to the point that I almost never mess up crimps anymore. I have not done any of the tiny 1mm JST crimps but everything else has worked well. I just keep all of them in the same place and I can always find the best fit. With the right size you wont damage the pin (especially the retention barbs) As long as I don't lose these I will probably never have to buy another crimper in my life time. Well worth the price and I heard enough recommendations from the 3d printing community that I was confident that I was making a good purchase. And they were right. I also recommend a lighted desk magnifier since you don't appreciate how hard crimping can be on the eyes without one. If you have to crimp something (avoid it if you can) these are just right. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality, work great! *by on Reviewed in the United States January 25, 2019* I don't normally write reviews and even more infrequently do I upload videos for products, but these crimpers are awesome. I purchased SN-01BM and I'll tell you the quality is superb, the materials are top quality, the machining of the jaws is first rate, the ratcheting mechanism is well build and feels very solid. My first JST connection to 24 awg wire crimped perfectly and was done in seconds. I had to pinch the 2 tabs on the JST connector together slightly to fit it in the jaws and then I was able to squeeze the handle until the ratcheting mechanism engaged and held the connector firmly. I was then able to insert the 1/8" stripped wire and squeezed until the ratchet released and the connector was perfectly formed. Wonderful product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time crimping JST-XH *by on Reviewed in the United States September 18, 2023* I tried crimping some JST-XH connectors without this tool and made a mess of it. I had previous experience with the Dupont version of this tool, so I decided to buy this one. Wow, what a difference having the right tool for the job makes, perfect crimps.
