This was in the mail early in the day before I went to pick up my dog for the first time. Great timing. Looks nice. The padding on the collar is nice. The clip on and off is very easy. My dog is an adult Shar Pei/Chow mix and this really looks like a humane leash. I do not like to leash my dog at all, and I wish I could let him run free all of the time, but at least this sporty style makes it easier. It definitely outdid the decent collar I had bought from a pet store earlier in the week. (One week later review added) -- I purchased more of these recently, so that I can wash one and he has another to wear. It also matches different reflective leash products. I use the 6 foot leash, a 20 foot leash, a 30 foot leash and a 100 foot leash with this. I leave the collar on him during the day as I take him out several times throughout the day, and at night I remove it. The collar does not seem to bother him at all. It moves around his neck as the leash goes.

I bought this as my dog pulls and her old collar was rubbing her neck raw due to that. OBVIOUSLY when I discovered this problem and was waiting for this collar, I put her in a harness.This collar did not adjust as much as I had hoped it would. My dog is a terrier mix and this small is nearly too big for her (to make it work, I had to sew to make it smaller).I will say though, that it was worth the effort. The padding on the collar solved the problem I was having. It has also helped with the pulling as it is wider. Someone made a comment to me that it was too wide of a collar for my small dog, however, I asked my vet about this and she said it was perfectly fine.

Good but I wish the padding was over the buckle extension area. I had to extend it out for my black lab and the part that sits on her throat is not padded and that was the primary reason for purchasing this collar. It seems to be holding up very well and doesn't hold dirt or scratch her neck so I would recommend it to others.

Great fit & quality! We have a big husky/ German shepherd mix and this collar is perfect for her. All other collars we tried were tight, and made her gasp. This collar is great, thanks.

Fabric on this isn't very smooth, but my dog seems to like it. It's a good-looking collar that holds up well with an active dog. I like the larger ring, since it's easy to clip the leash on quickly. And the reflective portion is nice & bright. My husband likes the black collar, since it looks more 'manly' than vanity collars.

Much larger than you expect - if you have a small dog - chihuahua or yorkie - this is TOO LARGE. :)

Sizing chart is not accurate measure my dog and this collar was still too big for him, otherwise a nice collar too bad my dog can't use it.
