ALLAN WORMIES Sour Gummy Candy, 5 Ounce Bag (Pack of 12)

Love these! I am from Canada and this is a childhood favorite. Some might not like this flavor/texture combo but that does not mean this is not a good product. If it is not up to your taste that is one thing but to put down the whole product because you don't like that flavor is just not right. There are plenty of food I don't like but other do and I don't bash them for it. These hot lips are slightly different from the ones you would get in Canada but barely and not enough to stop me from buying them. I usually stock up when I'm visiting family in Canada and now I can buy from Amazon whenever I want some! I like that these are individual packages so I can open one at a time and still have plenty more for later. They are not as hot as the ones from say Bulk Barn but for someone in the US and missing a taste of Canada this is a must product and very good on price. Enjoy!

The only reason I'm not giving this product 1 star is simply because I don't want my review to reflect badly on the seller themself. The seller was wonderful and I got my package on time just as guaranteed with prime. However, as for the product itself, there is no gentle way to say this but they are flat out gross. I was expecting these to be similar to my beloved gummy cinnamon bears but that was sadly not the case. The texture is pretty much the same - a kind of smooth, powdery, thicker outside layer with a chewy center. The flavor of these hot lips though - sickening. At first you get cinnamon, then you get some weird fruity taste, I'm assuming it's the pear that is listed in the ingredients list (which, why would you put pear flavor in a cinnamon candy?!). Then after the fruit flavor subsides, you are left with a root beer type after taste! So bizarre. Some people may love these, however they were just not for me.

Finally found my favorite candy since childhood that I only used to be able to buy in Canada! These are amazing and SO different in taste and texture than any other watermelon flavored gummy candy on the US market. I've tried them all, and nothing beats these. Kids and adults love these. A great treat.FYI - last week, I found that US 7-11 stores started selling Allans candies, including this variety, so it may be cheaper to just try finding them locally.

My grandson thinks these are better than any gummy bear he has ever had!

They taste just nasty.....wasted too much money on these candies. It is like cinnamon with a fruity taste.....no!!!

Not quite as sour as some of the other sour watermelon slices... great texture... best ever!

These we nasty nasty nasty. Had to return them. Yuck
