I rather do other things than making sure my food doesn’t burn..
This little marvel here is something else. I got me a slab of meat to cook this sucker on. People, I will say this for all the Ms. Sweet Brown telling me aint nobody got time for that. Just ten minutes, hell even five minutes, rip that packaging off of what ever meat you want to use, Brisket or otherwise. No you will not be fitting the whole thing in this bad boy. I’m a say it right now use a plastic liner before you cook anything in this thing. If you’re anything like me, you hate cleaning up more dishes that what you already use. You’ll thank me later. Onto the good stuff, so the brisket, cut that sucker in half with what ever you have handy chef knife, katana sword, whatever and throw it in slab of meaty goodness into a LINER you have into the slow cooker. Throw some salt and pepper about a table spoon, fat side up so the fat juicyness can moisten your meat. Because everyone like moist meat. Turn it on set for twelve hours on low and cover it. Do NOT by any means cook with the clamps on! Those clamps are there to keep your food warm. That is the only time you use them. This device has a handy auto warmer function. Because sometimes I set it, get trashed drunk and I forget stuff. I made that mistake making a turkey in the oven ONE time and it never happened again. No, You may not what happened. So this is great for you people that like to cook but hit that alcohol a little too hard and forget. It pays for itself by not setting your place on fire when it is done cooking. So props to you Hamiliton Beach, looking out for the alcoholic chefs in life, I raise my glass to you. So when you wake up all sauced up, holy hell it’s time to feast on the most tender meat you ever sinked your teeth into. The probe is good too it has a temperature you can set it to because different types of meat can be done at different temperatures. The directions for that come with it. This is helpful when I busy throwing down on video games because quests take up so much of your time. Just set your meat, look for the temp in the instructions cover with lid, place probe in the meatiest part, input temp, and walk away. Soon you’ll be enjoying the juiciest meat like you have seen on the game right before a hunt. Want to get fancy? Throw some vegetables in there and put it on high for 30 minutes after the meat is done in the juices and voila. Them veggies will be as savory and unhealthily delicious just like that beautiful chunk of meat. I got no problems with this culinary magician, that’s why I gave it five stars.

l bought one for my Son before. This is my 2nd purchase for me this time.
This is the best slow cooker and bonus, you can use a thermometer to check if your meat, chicken, turkey or pork is cooked or not. Nothing like it that l,ve ever seen or used. l love my purchase. Awesome and inexpensive for what you get. Also it is soooooo easy to use. Oh and you get the free thermometer that plugs into the base of cooker. There,s a small hole in the glass top you stick it through and into the meats, etc. And the lid has locks while cooking safe.

Easy to Use
I bought this for my daughter so is a teacher and is single. She said she loves it! She throw in a bunch of ingredients and has a great dinner when she comes home after school! She is also a coach so she has very long days and is super tired. The last thing she has energy for is cooking. Even though she is single, she says the size is fine because the dinners last her for days! It's easy to set the timer too. She said it's very easy to use. I even used it when I went to her house and found it simple to navigate!

Great Slow Cooker
It looks and works great. All three cooking methods (standard slow cook, timed and meat thermometer) each perform as advertised. We couldn’t be happier.

Great Slow Cooker with One Small Flaw
Ok, I'll get the bad news out of the way first: the keypad/button entry section on the slow cooker does not seem to stick to the unit properly. I'm not sure if it's the adhesive that can't handle being that close to the heating element, incorrect size, or a combination, but whenever I'm using the slow cooker it will warp to where it does not lie flat on the unit's surface. The buttons still work, and I can push the pad back down into place (sort of), but I can definitely see that feature being a deal breaker for some people. Good news: this is a well-functioning slow cooker with some smart features. I have been using slow cookers for a long time (a habit I developed from my mother, who cooked just about everything in a slow cooker). I like the programmable features to set the amount of time/level of heat to cook (since both my husband and I work long hours and neither one of us is home to babysit the slow cooker). One of my favorite features on this slow cooker that was missing from our previous one is the thermometer probe. The probe is really easy to use- stick the pointy end in the meat through the designated hole in the lid, plug the other end into the hole on the side marked for "probe jack", and program the slow cooker to the correct temperature- for example, 165*F for chicken. That's it. Once the meat reaches the desired temperature, the slow cooker will switch to "warm" and leave you with a perfectly cooked meal, instead of some dry, poor excuse for chicken jerky. Though I have not used this feature yet, I do like the fact that I could take a cooked meal on the go in this slow cooker and not worry as much about it spilling because of the clips on the side to secure the lid. Also, the cord wraps neatly underneath the unit for storage. If you're looking for a reliable slow cooker with useful features (and can overlook one annoying flaw, the warp-y button pad), I recommend this slow cooker.

Great product!
Heats to high quickly, and cooks on low at just the right temperature. Big enough for a large chuck roast, and easy to use and clean. I LOVE IT!

A great slow cooker.
After thinking about a slow cooker for years my wife finally bought one. Good sized cooking pot, controls are easy to use, lid locks down for transit if needed. We are very happy with this purchase.

Great Product
I purchased this for a house warming gift. She loves it and has already used it 5 times in the last month and a half. I have had this same one for many years and am very satisfied.

The BEST Slow Cooker To Buy
I absolutely LOVE this Set & Forget Slow Cooker because it basically let's you set it and forget it. I had to replace my other 6 QT slow cooker which coincidentally looked almost identical to this one right down to the probe. The only difference is that they improved it and made one with those latches to secure the lid shut. Also I feel like the handles on my other slow cooker stuck out quite a bit. Oddly enough this unit feels lighter. I personally think the best features to have on a slow cooker are the options to cook in 30 minute intervals so the timing starts at 4:00hrs and you simply use the up and down button to add 30 minutes or subtract 30 minutes so if you only want something to only cook for 30 minutes like if you're melting chocolate or making candy etc, you're good. I would stay away from the slow cookers that only give you two options. So you would have High 4-6 hours or Low 6-8 hours because you're tied to those two options. If you don't want to babysit it then this is the better option. It cooks very evenly. As I mentioned, it comes with a probe and the lid latches down securely for traveling. I personally would not cook with it latched down. There is no need to. Maybe if you're on a boat and riding really big waves and you're afraid of the lid coming off then I would see someone latching it down while it's cooking but even then, theoretically you don't need to do that if the cooker is stationary. I don't think it's recommended either. I had my previous 6Qt slow cooker for 8 years and ran it ragged and the only reason I had to let it go was because the digital display was no longer readable so in the very end, it made it a guessing game. It still cooked great right up to the end so it was working and I could still make out the display timing because I knew it started off at 4:00hrs and the high/low etc so I was okay with that and was able to maneuver around that problem which I dealt with for the last year and a half and then that one day it was to the point that I thought I put in a certain time and luckily I was home and I heard it beep and saying it was done but it should have still had 3 hours for the cooking time. That is when I knew the slow cooker was absolutely done. I am a creature of a habit, I wanted the EXACT same unit but they don't make that model anymore and I knew this particular model with the latched lid was out and pretty much identical to my older one so I scooped it up. Again, I love the features and the fact that this one is somehow lighter. I like the company. I like their products. This one is a winner!
