The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Caught

Great reading

My mother in law told me about these books. Once I read book 1, I immediately ordered the next and so on. I am currently reading book 5. This book is must read! I like the way the characters are developing and how they all stay united in the midst of heartache and personal conflicts. You witness their growth from the previous books.Neta Jackson does not disappoint. She is an awesome author and definitely captures all aspects of the different ethnic backgrounds!! I have talked about this series to all of my friends, encouraging them to read it. You start out feeling a certain way about certain characters, then you start noticing those traits in you and feel a pull to change. It is kind of a self help book series, really.

I really like this series, I am involved with a womens small group and I can relate to the prayer needs that come at you from all directions. The plot is not always predictable, the characters interesting. I gave this a 4 star because I dread reading the first chapters of a new book in the series because it recaps back to the first book, other series I have read do not have this redundancy. I would love for Neta to find a new word for "snorted", it is incessant in these books. I would really rather read the boring "said"! Neta is a great spiritual writer and I so appreciate her emphasis. I will read the rest of this series!

they become as close as family, learn to work as a cohesive team, ministering to one another, worshipping together in a wonderfully unique church, giving up prejudices and accepting their differences. It is a beautiful picture of body life. But it is a realistic portrayal. These are just like us, real people, people with a sin nature. But the book makes clear how Christ transforms us to be able to love in a new way.The characters are so well described, you come to feel like you know these folks as friends.Neta Jackson write so naturally, I feel like I know her as my friend. I went to nursing school in Chicago, so many of the places named are places I am familiar with.Anything that Neta Jackson writes, I will read from cover to cover. I am a great appreciator of her particular brand of writing.

Some of the best Christian books I’ve ever read it is a series you need to read them all each book it’s just different enough to teach you something that you didn’t know or remind you of what you should know highly recommend

If you've been following the women of Yada Yada along this journey; then you will understand where I'm coming from. Neta Jackson has done an amazing job of wrapping you into every characters life and showing you the hope and purpose God has for each of them. All along the way she manages to remind you of that still small voice we often forget is there nudging us to surround ourselves with the love and support that comes from the most unexpected places. Wonderful read - again!! Can't wait for book 6.

I simply gush when I talk about the ladies of the Yada Yada Prayer Group. I love each book. The stories are wonderful. Mrs. Jackson masterfully develops each story so that each book captures you. Then, the books build on one another. You will feel as though you have a vested interest in these wonderful, diverse and perfectly imperfect women. I thank Mrs. Jackson for this labor of love. The books helped me through a rough time in my life. The series helped me forgive someone who hurt me deeply with this line - "God expects us to fogive people. Even the ones that don't say 'I'm sorry'". I was able to move from resentment to forgiveness through that one line. YOU WILL BE BLESSED BY THIS BOOK SERIES!!

I am on Book #7 of the YadaYada Prayer Group series. I have read all of these just since Christmas - Can't put them down once I start. I can totally relate to this group of women as I am involved in a similar diverse group - I am so much like Jodi and her reactions to situations. Thanks to Jodi, I am learning to trust God first before trying to solve problems my way. She has taught me a lot. I thank my Granddaughter for introducing me to these books and to Neta Jackson for writing them.

Bought as a gift - they arrived in a timely manner. The recipient is enjoying them.

I love the Yada Yada Prayer Group series & this book is as wonderful & vibrant as the ones before it. I'm already onto the next one. If you haven't picked up Yada Yada yet - what are you waiting for ;)?!? You'll experience tears & joy, laughs & encouragement... I really can't rate it enough.
