KiwiVine Crochet Hooks 23 pcs Set with Bag and Letter Sizes

Bought these a few years ago so I'd have a proper full set of hooks rather than secondhand bits and pieces from family. A couple of the more delicate lace hooks are a little bent, but still perfectly usable. There is also one larger sized hook that has a little burr on it which can snag the yarn, but can easily be taken care of. Overall I'm very happy with this set of hooks. Should the need ever arise I'd buy this same set again.

What can I say, they’re crochet hooks. They don’t appear to be bent, the hooks are smooth with no spurs. I do like that the have American sizing by letters and also by millimeters. The case is kinda cheap looking but it’s good enough to keep your hooks all together. This is a good set for the price. I’m not disappointed

I am happy with these. I also love that there is a hook size between G and H. The project I was working on had a decorative row of slip stitches made with a G hook over an item made with an F hook and then crocheted with the F hook into the slip stitch row. Crocheting into the G slip stitches was difficult, but I didn't want to make this row with the H hook, I thought it would be too large. So, when I saw this between-size hook it seemed like the answer to my predicament--and it worked great. I also love that with this less expensive set the sizes in letters and mms are marked on all the hooks. It's a great set.

Very nice, compact, easy to use set of crochet hooks. The larger sizes are both color coded and have metric and letter sizes. Small steel hooks are metric sized. I like that the vinyl of the case is soft and flexible, and that the sleeves holding the hooks are transparent, and sized appropriately. So far I've only used a couple of the larger hooks, F,G, and they're smooth and shaped well. I may have bent the F slightly already, they're aluminum shafts, so can be deformed a bit. For the price, I think the quality makes it a very good value.

Nice range of sizes for a beginner like me so I'm not constantly going to the store to buy the size hook I need for a project. No issues with the hooks snagging yarn, they are very smooth. Like the case, makes traveling with my supplies much easier. None of the plastic moldings have broken on me, but I'm very gentle in removing and replacing any hooks that I use. I can see how they might rip if someone were to snatch a hook out too roughly. Hooks come labeled with both metric sizing and letter sizing. Overall very pleased with this set.

There is really only one reason I bought this set instead of the  Blulu one --which is significantly less expensive and has more stuff, by the way--the 4.5mm (7) hook for the KiwiVine set is pictured as being slightly pink and thus different from the H8/5mm hook. In reality, they are both yellow, just like the Blulu. Save yourself a bundle and get that set or  this one  instead. I returned the KiwiVine set and got the Blulu one myself. Since I have held both the KiwiVine set and the Blulu set in my hands, I can tell you that they are identical in the quality of both the hooks and the case, except for the fact that I also got tapestry needles with the Blulu set. Enough said.

I got this product over others because I really wanted the case, and I do not regret it! The case is incredibly convenient, I like to shift through a couple of projects at once so it is good to have all the hooks on-hand at once. The hooks themselves are good quality, and in a pretty wide range of sizes.

There is nothing more upsetting than not having the proper hook for a pattern. However, this product eliminates any problems in that situation. All dimensions and sizes are clearly marked on each hook and safely secured in this zippered pack. I love this product.
