Review: This Diffuser is GREAT! - I purchased it because I was getting a lot of resonant frequency feedback from the wind coming off the windshield of my Jeep Wrangler. The wind was hitting the fins of my curved light bar causing it to resonate. No it does not get rid of any whistling sounds but that's easily fixed by putting a little silicone in rivet holes and across bolts. Most importantly I can now hear myself think without feeling like my teeth are going to rattle out. I found the easiest way to install it. First drill and place the center rivet in. Then the outermost one on one side while pressing it in drill and insert a rivet, after that press in the diffuser on the other end, drill and insert that rivet. This will help form it to the profile of the light bar. From there you can drill and insert the rest of the rivets. BE WARNED, if you install it upside down you could increase the sound caused by the wind... physics is fun! Review: Really annoying. Had high hopes - Had no difference in sound reduction on mine. Mounted ontop of a 2007 yukon. Really annoying. Had high hopes. I guess everyone’s situation is different. It works for some just not me. Drill a few holes and pop rivet in.
