These seeds are exactly that. They come well‑packaged, evenly sized, and with that deep reddish‑orange colour you expect. No dust or random bits mixed in - just proper annatto. For cooking, the colour payoff is great. Blooming the seeds in oil gives you that rich orange tone almost instantly, which is perfect for homemade achiote, rice dishes, and stews. A small amount goes a long way, especially if you’re using it mainly for colouring. My mum uses these seeds for tea sometimes, and they work well for that too.
