Our premium paddle is carefully made. Even though we produce them in larger quantity the quality still remains as if we were making only one. Each paddle starts out with a trip to our local supplier where we hand select the walnut hardwood. We look for a nice grain pattern when choosing the wood. We then mill the wood to the desired thickness, about ½" thick. It is then cut to the shape and sanded. Then the walnut paddle is finished with multiple coats of shellac. This leaves a nice satin finish that highlights the grain and protects the paddle. We think you will enjoy the time and effort we put in our premium finished paddles. It is proudly made in the USA.
