My new favorite thing!!
I am so late to the jamboree but better late than never! I found out this pectin allows one to cut way back on sugar or use honey or stevia to make amazing jam! Total novice at jam but not at canning I bought a frozen bag of organic strawberries and sweetened with honey and canned it and I am just tickled pink at the delicious results that include even less “added sugar” than the expensive organic brand I was buying which sweetens with juice. My jam literally tasted like a fresh ripe strawberry! I am not a big jam and bread girl but I am a homemade yogurt and jam girl. And a strawberry matcha latte girl. And may I add I made 10 jars for about $15 not counting the jars themselves which will be reused many times. I’m a new customer for life!

Best alternative to high refined sugar pectins.
Pomona Pectin has an absolutely fantastic product. If you’re looking for a way to remove refined sugars, making jams and jellies with Pomona is the way to go. Buy organic and want to use organic raw honey? Pomona is the only pectin that you can do this. I exclusively use Pomona as I’m a diabetic and I make all of my own jams and jellies. Pomona gives me a lot more freedom than other pectins that require sugar and acid or artificial sweeteners. Apricot Pineapple Jam Blackberry Jam Cherry Preserves All done with Pomona Pectin

Works great!!
Absolutely amazing!! I love that I can use any amount of sugar that I want to! I was able to cut the sugar back to 1/4 of what I had to use, using the Sure Jell pectin! I even used it to thicken pie filling, and it was great!

This pectin is the best!! I have had 100% success with my jellies AND - I do not have to use as much sugar for it to set!!!
