This is a beautiful book of photographs that sensitively tells the story of thousands of Spanish hunting dogs who are killed or abandoned at the end of the hunting season. The horror of their situation is more chilling because so much is left to your imagination, with just minimal references to what happens to these dogs. The artistic approach hits home harder than documentary reporting could do. Please do not ignore this book because the subject matter might upset you.
