My car is always getting damp (once I found lichen growing on the floor mat!) and I had been going through small things of Damp Rid every few months. I wanted something small that I could put in the car to get rid of the moldy, musty smell and absorb the damp while being reusable, I love that I can just hang one in my car and "recharge" it in the sun to dry it out. They also came with a large bag for storage which was nice and unexpected. I also am always battling smelly shoes, especially in shoes I can't wear socks with (I tried those small "no-show" sock liners but sometimes they show and I just don't wear socks and then deal with the consequences of smelly shoes) but now I can stick these in my shoes and get rid of the funk.I received this product discounted in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I bought these to put in my husbands closet. He keeps his laundry basket in his closet and the whole closet starts to smell musty after just a few days. I took both of the little bags and hung one at each end of his closet, (his laundry basket was full at the time) the next day the odor was reduced. The odor wasn't gone after the first day but it was reduced, but by the second day the odor was gone. His laundry basket was completely full and there was no odor in his closet at all. It didn't smell like perfume like other things I've tried it just smelled clean. I also got 2 bags for my son's tote full of stinky sneakers, it worked for those too. I bought these at a discount in return for my honest review. I will be buying them again.

My son loves having these as he keeps them in his shoes. This is his second purchase of this charcoal product. He had a pair of dress shoes that got some kind of white mold looking stuff in them, that he couldn't wash away. After putting these charcoal bags in his shoes for several days, the white stuff was gone.
