Works great, great sound, works with any 3.5 stereo jack--MP3 players, cell phones, you name it! Anything with a 3.5 works! I have a Nokia 5230 Nuron and I play it on my car cassett deck, with the built in MP3 player 4Gig I listen to music all day and the built-in mic on the phone gives me great hands-free talk on the phone over the car speakers. If you got an old cassett deck--you gotta have this! If you have a bi-directional tape deck and you don't here any sound--just reverse direction--that's it!

If you take this adapter apart, there seem to be two important parts to it. It has a white wire coming out of it (part 1), and that wire is attached to a play head (part 2). Next, there are some plastic gears that simulate the motions of a real cassette tape, and they appear to be totally useless. My adapter was making too much noise so I opened it up and removed a small gear that seemed to be the culprit. After removing that gear it was quieter. I left the two main gears alone. Don't have auto-reverse or anything like that so everything was fine afterwards.

Sadly this thing didn't meet my expectations. It started skipping and "changing sides" every 5 seconds after 3 days of use, and so I had to buy another one. It made listening to music practically impossible. Well, it was very cheap, so what can you expect! I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I got what I paid for!

not very functional; I had to start the song before I put it in the cassette player. if i dont do this, it simply makes a sick rattling noise, and spits the adapter out. :( who wants to miss the begining of a song?

This product take the music thru your Car Stereo but the performance isvery poor because it carried a lot of noise with the music you are listening.
