Desk Clock Moving Sculpture Timepiece 6 inches - Silver

I got this for my dad for Christmas who is an avid clock collector. He loves it. My daughter set it up for him & we literally watched it align on the 12th hour. It is a very fascinating piece.

When I first opened this, I figured it was an ugly piece of plastic junk. It was pack in a "box" that had been made from a cut up USPS express mail envelope. There was no padding or Styrofoam, although the instructions included with it were explicit in saying it need to be carefully removed from the Styrofoam packing. It worked fine when I set it up. It's definitely not as nice looking as the picture, and it's bigger than I thought and preferred, but it does keep the time correctly and is serving the purpose along with being something different in a clock. You need to get used to looking straight up from the line on the base to read the numbers in all layers or you'll think the time is off. Because of the ridiculous way it was packed for shipping, I would recommend trying to purchase it from another seller.ADDENDUM -- I've had this for less than 2 months, and I'm revising to my original thought that it is a piece of junk. It already stopped working. I replaced the battery with a new one, and it worked for just a minute or so, then stopped again.
