I bought these molds quite a while ago and I was discouraged by the poor reviews. Then when I finally decided to make my candles I was so very happy with how they turned out. The molds worked perfectly and my candles slipped right out! I made 6 candles and can’t wait to get more wax to make more! If it makes a difference I did use beeswax for mine.

The silicone material is practically indestructible, but it requires considerable finger strength to peel it off of the candle after the wax has solidified.

You will have to add soap and water to this mold otherwise it’s very hard to remove the candle. Be aware

They’re molds. They are about the size of a small juice can (think the V8s or tiny soda).I made candles. The molds held residual scent, no big deal. The contents stayed warm in the molds for several hours. I had to use a butter knife to loosen the wax from the molds, then push out from the bottom with my thumbs to work the candle free. They maintained their shape, and that’s about all I can say for them.They’re small, not the “pillar” size I wanted, but they’re small enough that I can use them with children (under close supervision). They held the weight of the wooden wick stabilizer well, but not the metal ones (there was some minor buckling of the edges at the top of the mold/candle).

These are nice molds, simple, and sturdy. There is nothing fancy to them. They are small, accurate to description and size. They are made of thick silicone, and not flexible. I use them to make pillar candles. You will need to poke a hold in the bottom to feed the wick through or use a wooden skewer. You might need to manipulate the silicone to break the seal so the candle or resin can slide out.
