Works; be careful if you are replacing a Moleskine+ pen
Bought to replace pen that came with Moleskine+, but pen doesn't link to that software. The NeoPen software seems quite similar, however. I'm hoping to figure out how to port prior pages to new app.

pen needs work
While this pen's app is the best compared to EquilPen2 and Livescribe 3, but the pen itself is not as good. The pen keeps missing strokes no matter how i angle my handwriitng... it seems to need greater pressure on the left side to recognize the strokes but this isnt an issue for the other pens I tried and since its unlikely Im going to be able to change my handwriting style to make this pen work for me, I'm going to have to return it. I mean what's the point if half my writing isn't recognized and recorded.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRIVACY AND SECURITY
The android app for this asks for "location" and "phone status and identity" when it starts. It explains (in broken english) that it wants these for "location history" and "news and tips push messages". I don't want this app keeping a location history or pushing news and tips messages (or making phone calls). The app refuses to run without these permissions and simply keeps bringing up the same screen about how it wants them.
