Option #1: Fasten with built-in velcro straps First, wrap the front stretch velcro one time around. Then wrap the back, no-stretch velcro with the soft part on the outside and the hard part on the inside. Some users choose to first wrap this back part of the finger with a layer of standard sports tape and then wrap the back, no-stretch velcro over the tape. Either way, the back, no-stretch velcro must be fastened tightly. Push the body of the PowerSplint against your finger as you tightly wrap this strap just behind the middle joint (the "PIP joint"). Option #2: Cut off the back, built-in velcro strap and use sports tape instead Some users prefer the feel of sports tape as opposed to the velcro. Either way works just as well. Simply cut off the back, no-stretch velcro just outside the foam body. Do not cut into the foam body. Worked for trigger finger
Initially, thevelcro straps felt awkward and I thought it would not work for my trigger finger to prevent it from curling up while I slept. However, after a few nights, I woke up with much less pain since it actually did what it claims. Not sure how it would work for an athlete during the day. I was not concerned with the slight bulkiness since I wasn't doing daily activities. I would buy this again.

Did the trick!
This splint did the trick for tendonitis that would not heal. After over a month of pain in the mornings, I began to utilize this splint at night, and the rest it gave my finger has finally allowed the inflammation and irritation in my finger to reduce. My only complaint is that the Velcro tends to pull a little loose and catch on our bedding, snagging it.

Excellent product
Product works as advertised. I have been using it to split my broken middle finger while playing football. I do still experience mild pain, but without the splint It is much more painful to use my hand and make tackles while playing. Once my finger is healed I will continue to use it in order to avoid injuring the finger again.

I liked it.
Yeah everyone else was right. This is a no-joke finger splint. Very strong but comfortable to wear. I didn't play sports with it. I just wore it while recovering from an injury (rock climbing). It certainly helped protect it and give it support. That's important when waiting for joints to heal.

Order the correct size
I am 6' 220lbs and for my middle finger the M size was too tight so I ordered the L which works better and does not turn the tip of my finger blue.

Not what I had hoped
It's rather uncomfortable and gives some support. For a minor sprain it should be fine, but something more sever this is not a good choice.

Not perfect, but in a pinch-it's good to have
Fits a little awkwardly. I have long skinny fingers, so it could just be me. It has velcro for the base- which I can never get tight enough, and elastic and Velcro for the tip of the finger, which I have to play with to get loose enough so it doesn't cut off ciruculation.Not perfect, but better than the crappy ones they have at our local drugstore.

行方不明。。。
右手小指の関節がばかになっているのでこちらをつけていました。中に固定するプロテクタのようなものがあり、しっかりサポートしてくれて助かっていたのですが、この子はいっつも行方不明になる。もう２回目だけど、価格もお手頃だし、また購入を考えています。なんか目立つように鈴でもつけようかしら。やっぱり指だとうるさいかな
