These colored pencils are surprisingly good for the cost. It arrived quickly and I knew they'd be bundled in the roll as it was pictured, but I honestly expected the fabric to be a little flimsy and thin, WHICH IT WASN'T. It's a thick felt bundle that holds its shape well. Both the elastic straps holding in the pencils and the one wrapping the bundle are strong and durable. The pencil leads are soft, which I like, because the the colors come out bright and vibrant and blend well with each other when layering. Even after sharpening, the leads are strong and don't break off, which can be really frustrating. The other thing I like is that the paint on the pencils are true to the color of the lead. I have found that sometimes you grab a color and the pencil draws an off-version of the paint covering the pencils.I ran out of vellum so my photo is on watercolor paper, which is rough, but when you draw on regular smooth paper, these don't disappoint. I didn't buy these pencils to use as watercolor pencils, so my review is based on dry pencils, and they are excellent.However, I did dip the included brush in water to see how it blended, and it honestly just seemed to make the paper wet with no blending, but I didn't try very hard.

The felt is thick. The band is well stitched and strong. This roll case will last. The pencils, however, are cheap accessories to the real product here.

These are some of the best color pencils we have. My wife started using them right away on a coloring book for adults to test them out and loved the results she got. She also felt that the case it came in was brilliant and that it was nice that it came with a brush as well. My sister ordered a set for herself after we told her about these color pencils we liked a lot and will be sharing it with our niece who is extremely artistic and does a lot of coloring as a hobby.They came nicely packaged and are well protected by the felt case that has a very strong strap to hold the case tight. The case also has individual holding loops to keep the pencils nice and neat and is tight enough that they wont go flying out while carrying them.

We spent a lot of time researching mechanical pencils and colored pencils before buying. There are many colored pencil options for adults that have several lower price options, but we chose these and don’t regret our decision to do so. We love the wool felt wrap case, which is much nicer than the cheap tin cases we are so accustomed to seeing. These colored pencils are larger than most you see, but are very comfortable to use, and getting great color is effortless. My whole family has used these, and have had great enjoyment in doing so.

I got this for our two day car trip to FL. It was the perfect size for the small bin I got for the back seat. It rolls up nice and does not take up a lot of space. I bought a small sharpener, some new coloring books and we were good to go! My son kept a journal of the car trip and was able to make it as colorful as he wanted. It was nice and easy for him to see all the colors at the same time and choose the one he wanted. In the past he would dump them out to see them and they would be all over the seat because they would roll away-of course!

I purchased these for my boyfriend along with a coloring book for men. I was actually kind of jealous I didn't get myself this set as well. I love the felt case it comes in and these coloring pencils were a great quality. Needless to say, we both enjoy using this set! Highly recommend.
