Bless you, Ortopad, for making lazy eyes tolerable, if not fun!
My 5-year-old little guy has a lazy eye. It's been tough. He is socially anxious by nature, so when we started to need glasses, it was a struggle. Adding eye patches to the mix was very hard. We realize their import (in fact, I do not have binocular vision to this day thanks to my own childhood lazy eye experience) but the tears and anxiety have made it a significant challenge. The cute Ortopad patches helped, but it wasn't enough. He was still resisting. Then I stumbled across these patch reward posters. It's like the company took the thing about patching that makes kids the most insecure -- that odd-shaped patch, which is like nothing else any other kid is wearing -- and made it into the thing about patching that is the coolest. My son is so excited to patch for the day, so he can finish and add his patch to the poster. He loves that the characters in the illustrations are wearing the same patches he is. My 2-year-old is already hoping that one day he gets to patch, too, just for this experience. It brings tears to my eyes to see him excited about this. Thank you for such a great product!

So Helpful!!
The Ortopad eyepatch reward posters and colorful eyepatches were a lifesaver for me! My 5-year-old son was horrified at the thought of having to wear an eyepatch every day. He reluctantly came around when I showed him the patches with different designs, but he was actually excited to start wearing them when I showed him the reward poster! (Every time he finishes an entire poster, he is allowed to pick out a toy - usually a Lego set - of his choice.)Later, he insisted that we bring a finished poster to his eye doctor to show him. The doctor was touched. He said that in 30 years of practice, no one had ever shown him a completed eyepatch poster. My son was so proud of himself! As a practical bonus, the poster helps me to keep up with which eye we have patched and when. My son has to alternate patching each eye, so when I start a new chart I immediately write the date and L or R for whichever side he is supposed to patch for that day.

my son loves these
My son loves these charts. my son is 6 and we are doing patch therapy which seems to be helping his vision. So, while he hates the patches he does like the charts. Once he fills an entire chart he gets to pick an award but it has to be under a set dollar amount.I for sure recommend these to anyone with a little one struggling with motivation to do their patches. The only complaint that I have is that I wish the patched stuck to the paper better, they are kind of peely on here.we bought Ortopad Boys Eye Patches - Regular Size (50 Per Box) and Ortopad Elite Boys Eye Patches - Patterns with Glitter Accents, Regular Size (50 Per Box) both fit perfect and work great. They stick well enough the don't fall off, but still come off relatively easy(much easier than say a band-aid).

I cannot recommend these eye patch charts more
I cannot recommend these eye patch charts more! My son loves trucks and pirates so it’s perfect. They have one side for medium size patches and the other side is for smaller patches. After my son filled up one side we gave him a special reward and that was extra fun for him. He showed all his friends when they would come over too and was so proud of his progress.

Helpful for our need
The designs and posters helped make patching my sons eye fun for him. We also gave a small toy for ever 10 patched put on the poster. He would ask us to wear the patch!

Great motivation
My 6 year old loves seeing all the patches filling up the chart! Actually being able to see all of his patches on the posters make him that much more motivated to wear his patch the next day!

My four year old son has to wear a patch 4 hours a day and having this poster to put his patch on at the end of the 4 hours is great. Not only is he excited about putting the patches on, it also helps with number recognition.

Problem solver
My 5 year old needs to wear an eye patch 3 days a week and he always just slid it to the side as soon as I wasn't looking right at him. This fixed that problem and he likes choosing which one he'll wear that day.
