African Mahogany wood has a unique light-refracting optical phenomenon known as chatoyancy. Light and angles will make it shimmer and the rays in the wood will show different under light and dark. As well the red can darken with age. Since no wood is made equal, your boards grain and colors will be slightly different, however the above photos are a great representation of the final product.
