The ST-2 replaces the SN-2, the ST-8 replaces the SN-8, etc. They do still show the originals on their website. However, Snark doesn't show the SN1X, SN5X, or SN6X on their website any longer. I assume they are discontinued. **Q: is this the best choice for a banjo uke?** A: Yes, I believe it would be the best choice. The ST-2 is an all instrument tuner.
