Each hand painted chalkboard is done on an 11x14" wood plaque and coated with chalkboard paint. I then use oil paints to personalize the sign with your child's name, and several questions to ask them before their big debut into preschool, kindergarten, etc. (it is so fun to see their answers change as they grow!). All the paints I use are permanent-so all you have to do is write in the answers, date, and grade, and then erase it-and the painted part will not come off.
