Another fabulous tale
Once I really started reading, I didn't want to stop. Such a wonderful, well written story. I love how the story plays in your mind like a movie as you read. Again, I'm sad this book has ended as I always am sad once I finish a great book. Anyone who loves fantasy will love this book... even if you don't love fantasy, if you just love good stories, this is the series for you. I love the characters, the detailed description of faythander and all its creatures. The suspense is strong and keeps you wanting more and more. I give this story five stars because I couldn't stop thinking of it every time I put it down!

And I wasn't disappointed! Tamara's writing is so descriptive of her characters ...
After reading Dreamthief (twice), I couldn't wait to pick up Spellweaver. And I wasn't disappointed!Tamara's writing is so descriptive of her characters and their surroundings that it is easy to find yourself transported to Faythander and a part of the action. This follow up to does no less to take the reader on a roller coaster of emotions as you follow the characters through danger, love, loss, despair, and hopeful determination. This, like the first is what I describe as a "burn dinner" book.Well done!

Can't wait for book #3!!!! You must read this series!!!
Having finished Dreamthief (the first book of the series) in January, I was eager to get to the second. And of course, I wasn't disappointed. Spellweaver opens up right in the thick of the action. Not in an overpowering way, but in a way that draws you in, knowing you've just opened up an adventure that is going to entertain and keep you on your toes.I was not prepared for some of the twists and turns, and while the ending left me crushed, it was a good crushed if that makes any sense. Good, because now I'm biting my nails, waiting for book #3. All I can hope is that somehow they overcome. If they don't, then I don't know what I'm going to do. *wink wink* And that's all I'm saying. The world and cast of characters that are painted in this series are amazing. They all are carefully carved into their own story arches and remain true throughout. Same can be said about the wonderful writing. This series is a must read!

3.5 stars rounding up to 4
In book 2 we find out more about the history of Faythander and Olive learns some family secrets. There are a couple of surprise twists I didn't see coming and one I was hoping I wasn't right about (I was but I won't spoil it for anyone). I'm curious to find out how it all plays out in the next book.

Wonderful second book to a series.
This was a wonderful sequel to the series. This book begins only 2 weeks after the first book ends. So you do not miss anything in between. I love how the author is able to draw you into the story from the beginning and keep you there. I did not have one instance in this book where the story slowed down. Olive is such a delightful main character and the constant growth keeps you rooting for her to succeed.I cannot wait to get the third book and continue on in this world.

is a wonderful follow-up to Dreamthief
Tamara Granthams Spellweaver, An Olive Kennedy, MD Fairy World Book 2, is a wonderful follow-up to Dreamthief. This time, Olive is up against a Spellweaver, a villain from the previous book that sets out to eliminate all magic from Faythander. Since every creature, even the actual flora and fauna, are magical, this will mean the destruction of an entire world.Olive risks everything to restore magic to her childhood home.I love this series, and cannot wait to discover more in the third book.

I rarely buy the second book in a series, but this one justified the purchase
The characters are all well rounded, you really understand what they are each about. The storyline is whimsical, but well put together. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books!

I am not the best with reviews
I am not the best with reviews, I read not write, but loved this book! Everybody should definitely read it. Not going to go into detail, you can read the synopsis for that, nut I will say you will be happy you read it and look forward to the next installment in the series.

Un-Put-Downable!
Having read Dreamthief, the first in this series, I expected great things from Spellweaver and I was not disappointed.Olive Kennedy is still torn between worlds , and we are right there with her. The trials, the battles, successes and failures.I personally cannot wait for the next book in the series to be released. And I have a feeling I'll be neglecting hubby to read this one too!

Second book as good as first
Somehow I never expect a second book to be as good as the first in a series, but this series seems to be getting better, if at all possible!
