Previous owner had a car stereo installed, and the retractable cover would not stay close so it got rained on. Killed the LCD but radio still worked. Saw this and thought, worth it to try for that price. Great looking unit & speakers, much more modern than what was there. May have to enlarge the opening depending on what you had before, but once that was done it fit perfectly. Was really impressed with how good it sounded. Paired right up to my phone with no problem and streams nicely. FM doesn't really pick up that great at the lake but was fine at home. That is most likely because of proximity to any radio stations. I almost bought another to put in my old truck, but the bulkiness of marine speakers likely wouldn't all good fitment. I would highly recommend this unit for an inexpensive system and get a flip up cover for water-proofing. The only downside I could find is there is no backlight for the LCD and it can be hard to read in the sun, but once I have my phone connected, it really doesn't matter.
