The 42mm or 1.65" is intended to fit import Fender and Squier models and is made of standard Tusq material whereas the 5010-00 is made of TusqXL which is teflon impregnated and permanently lubricated thus the higher price. Keep in mind, they tend make them a little long so you can sand the ends flush with your fingerboard. **Q: Will this fit 7.25 radius necks?** A: My opinion is no. I think I used this on a 12" radius strat neck. Check the graphtech website. It will give you a better idea which one will fit. I don't know if they make 7.5" radius nut for strats/teles. You may have to try a 9.5" radius one and sand the bottom to the radius of your fretboard. I have put graphtech nuts on all of my fender guitars. It is an upgrade. **Q: My nut dimensions are 42mm wide, 3.5mm thick and 5mm tall. Will this work?** A: It say the length is 42mm or 1.65 " so that is what you want.
