This is the best looking nightlight i have ever seen. I am not sure if I'm a believer in the power of Himilayan salt lamps yet, the main reason I bought this nightlight was for the attractive look of it and the soft light it would put out. Some reviewers said the light was too bright, with each rock being different, I knew there was a chance it could be too dark or too bright, but ours seems to be just right. Also, it's hard to explain but there is also a very faint, pleasant smell that comes from this light after it has been on for a little while and has warmed up. Having never owned a salt lamp before, i'm not sure if that is a characteristic of them, or if this one is different. Will definitely be ordering more of these to have around the house! Love it!

I have salt lamps in a few rooms in our house. I loved the look of this nightlight in hte bathroom, until a few months later when I noticed that it is totally disintegrating! The salt feel moist - despite our bathroom being well ventilated - and it is crumbling down into the light / base. Too bad. I'm trying to dry it out to see if I can use it in another room, but I think it's done.

I love the look of this nightlight; it gives off a beautiful warm glow. It provides an inviting touch to our contemporary kitchen and gives off a good amount of light, helping me find my way to the frig without bumping into things. A beautiful high-quality product, it would make a lovely hostess or small holiday gift.

I really like this night light. I like that you can turn it on/off tally in the front. It is pretty bright. I originally bought it for my daughter's nursery, but it was a little too bright. We use it now in are kitchen and it lights up enough for me to wander through in the middle of the night. It's a soft warm light compared to a bright cool light.

This night light gives off a great deal of light, so it might not be for a bedroom unless you like sleeping in a lit room. I use it in the kitchen.Note that it is substantially heavier than any night light I've encountered. It uses the third prong (grounding prong) simply to stabilize (it is plastic, not metal). If your outlet is loose or poorly installed, it might not be able to bare the weight.That being said, it gives of beautiful light and the rock clearly heats up (which is necessary for it to give off the ions that so many tout have restorative properties).Hope this helps!

I've ordered 2 so far, and will definitely be ordering one for every room. I went to a salt spa and learned that if the salt block doesn't get warm, then it's not effective. These little plugins get very warm and seem to be more effective than the big salt lamp that I have. (It's too big and doesn't get warm.) I am only giving this plugin 4 stars because the bulb was too tall for the salt block. When we pushed the salt down over the bulb, per the directions, it shattered the bulb. So, I had to get another bulb and have to rest the salt over it. The 2nd plugin I ordered fit just fine though. Loved the price of this too!

I have 2 of these night lights to plug into my bathroom and entryway. Very night lighting but the plugs stopped working after a while. I thought it was because of the bulb, but I have replaced it several times. No good for long-term use.
