Felaqua Connect (without Hub)

This product has been wonderful. I have 5 cats. One of them took to this water dispenser straight away. The others took some time about it, the first fill took 3-4 weeks to be drunk, the second fill lasted about 12 days! This third fill is already a quarter gone in two days, so they are all drinking from it a lot now. It does make some noise when the air bubbles go in as the water refills the drinking plate, which made them all jump in the beginning. Again they have got used to that now. I was concerned about being able to open the container as some previous reviews said it was difficult. It’s a simple twist off, twist on again. The tiny last bit to get the groves to line up is slightly more difficult than the rest, but it’s still perfectly manageable, and I have arthritis in my hands, so I feel it will be fine for anyone else. I think the instructions weren’t that clear, but there is a big ‘twist it this direction’ arrow on the white ‘lid’ so I don’t really know what the issue is! It is an expensive product, but I haven’t had any more trouble with spilled water bowls. I love that it lasts a week or more, and that it doesn’t need to be plugged in, like my old water fountain for them. All in all I can highly recommend this product to any multi cat household. It’s a nice feature to see how much each cat drinks, although I’m not sure how accurate the information actually is, as I see my cats drink, but sometimes it doesn’t register on the record.

I like the design: clean water is dispensed only as needed and none of the recycling of stale water that’s often seen with other fountain type watering systems. I switched over from one of those and my cat took to the new “puddle of water” straight away without hesitation. The device doesn’t always register the cat, though. I know this isn’t related to my cat’s chip because the Sure PetCare Connect Feeder that we have works flawlessly. So I’ve docked a star. A useful feature in software would be to optionally allow any “unknown” removal of water to be registered to your only cat, if that’s relevant to you.

Do not buy. My cat kept knocking the reservoir off the base unit. Water everywhere! Sure said they had no advice to offer and closed my support request.

Having two cats it’s good to be able to check which one is drinking all the water. One cat is diabetic and it’s useful information for the vet. Reminders to refresh water good too.

I like this product because in a shared cat household you can check which cat is drinking. However, it is REALLY hard to remove the lid from the water bottle to re-fill the water. Be aware of this.

Fabulous product. I feel much better knowing that the water is clean. It reminds me to refresh the water and I now know how much water my cats are drinking. Thoroughly read recommend!

Je laisse les 5 étoiles car c’est un très bon produit mais si vous avez un chaton assez curieux comme le mien attendez peut-être un peu avant de l’acheter car il aime tellement l’eau qu’il me vide le réservoir régulièrement jouant avec sa patte, les bulles que ça fait 😺. Je laisse quand même l’appareil le temps de son apprentissage et car ça m’a permis de voir que l’une de mes 2 autres petites chattes buvaient peu (qd il reste de l’eau). Dans l’attente que mon chaton se calme, je surélève l’appareil pour éviter que l’eau n’atteigne les piles et j’éponge souvent, je remplis peu le réservoir et j’ai mis une gamelle d’eau classique pour pas que mes 3 loulous ne manquent d’eau. Une des assistantes de mon véto m’a rassuré sur le comportement des chatons à jouer avec l’eau que je n’avais quasiment pas expérimenté avec mes autres chats par le passé donc à bon entendeur. Cet achat doit donc être réfléchi si jamais vos chats aiment un peu trop l’eau. Idéalement, il faudrait un couvercle qui s’ouvre en fonction du chat et sa quantité d’eau maximale pour cet appareil (le mode apprentissage existe bien sur les distributeurs de nourriture Surefeed de la même marque, s’ils me lisent 🙂).

Saber con precisión qué cantidad de agua bebe cada gato es una información valiosísima para detectar de forma temprana cualquier anomalía en su salud. La aplicación funciona muy bien y presenta los datos de forma clara. * Gran aceptación: Su diseño en forma de cuenco es muy natural para los gatos, que la han usado desde el primer momento sin ningún tipo de recelo. El gran "pero": * Necesita un sistema de filtrado: Aquí es donde flaquea. El dispositivo no incluye ningún tipo de filtro, por lo que el agua tiende a ensuciarse más rápido. Esto me obliga a realizar un mantenimiento más constante para asegurar que siempre tengan agua fresca y limpia. Es el único detalle que le falta para ser un producto de diez. Conclusión: Recomiendo totalmente la Felaqua Connect a cualquier dueño de varias mascotas que quiera tener un control exhaustivo sobre su hidratación. La tranquilidad que proporciona bien vale la pena. No obstante, prepárate para limpiarla con regularidad, ya que no cuenta con la función de filtrado que sí ofrecen otras fuentes del mercado.

I have had their microchip feeders that link to the hub for a while and this was on my wishlist. I was a little nervous because I have 3 cats and one is very picky about life. I was worried that it wouldn’t be a large enough dish without the bottle getting in the way as one doesn’t like anything touching his whiskers. I had a water fountain for them in the past and none of them loved it. I had to go back to just a regular bowl. I kept that bowl a couple feet away from the feliaqua and it has been a success! All three drink from it happily and the worry about the dish size was not an issue! The one who doesn’t like his whiskers touched has plenty of space and they all prefer this dish. He is also the messiest cat I’ve met and this makes it sooo much more simple now and wastes so much less water just taking out the shallow dish! It also reminds you if you haven’t cleaned the dish itself in a couple days while we were away. It’s been great for my diabetic cat too as she’s close to remission we think and we can see how much she’s drinking. If/when she does it will be easier to tell if she’s drinking more water again as having 3 cats made it impossible to see she had increased her water intake. Lastly, this company is so amazing. They have great customer service as one of my feeders was giving me issues and they were able to help me without the headache. So if your cat doesn’t like it and you’re worried about taking the chance, I think it would be very easy to return it without questions.

Ya teníamos los comederos automáticos con chip para mis dos gatas con piensos específicos para cada una desde hace 3 años y vimos que sacaron esta fuente y no lo dudamos. Bonita, ergonómica y sin bombas que se rompan a los 3 meses. Fácil de limpiar. La tenemos sin pilas porque no nos hace falta saber cuánto beben, ni tenemos conexión a internet en casa. Un 10.
