Convenient to use and make waffles
Love this mini waffle maker. It's a convenient way to make waffles for one person. The thickness is great, the waffles come out great, the temperature is perfect and it is safe and easy to use. Clean up can be a little difficult but it is worth it.

Huge value for the money.
Easily one of my best Amazon purchases. I switched to all electric cooking while camping. I got this because the kids love waffles and it’s small enough to fit inside my pot. Been “testing” it out at home for the last two weeks. Works perfectly. Gets hot quickly, stays remarkably clean. Waffles are cooked in about 2 minutes each. While at home I cook a couple dozen then freeze whatever’s left, we heat them in the taster like Eggos. The small size works great for sandwich buns too.

Perfect waffles every time I love this thing!!!
I never had waffles growing up in Michigan. Mom didn't make them, just pancakes. When out for breakfast, I would order pancakes with my eggs and sausage, never waffles. My sister in law made waffles and that was the first time I had ever had them. I get pancake mix in 1.81K bags, and I live alone. I thought I would like to make waffles for a change. Waffle makers can have problems of their own. Some heat only one side, and not both, so you have to wait for the unheated plate to get heated up by the heated plate. When batter is added, and the plate closed, one plate is heating but the other is cooling off because it is insulated from the heated plate because of the layer of batter in between the plates. Some have sticking problems too. This mini waffle maker could have an on / off switch, that would be nice. It's a very cute little waffle maker, and surprisingly nonstick surface is great. One thing I found surprising is the fact that the manufacturer doesn't recommend the no stick cooking sprays because they can contain soybean oil and that can cause the surface to get sticky over time. I'm glad I read that because I noticed that a butter flavored oil I was considering for purchase, was not a cooking spray, but did contain soybean oil. I'm going to get the oil, but not use it for waffles. The manual mentioned the plates are removable, but I don't see how, short of breaking something. It would be nice to be able to remove them to wash them in soapy water. I saw a video about a guy who made his own rv, and he had a similar tiny waffle maker. I thought it would be nice if I could find a tiny waffle maker, and I found this one. I very happy with it, I just have to not put too much batter into it, or it squeezes out the sides when it bakes. This makes waffles very easy and fun and I can recommend it for someone who wants waffles and is wanting a small appliance. UPDATE The outside surfaces of this device get very hot during use. I would advise adult supervision of any children who want to make their own waffle, as it produces steam when opened and the outside surfaces are very hot. This is a drawback, to an otherwise fantastic waffle maker.

Small But Well Make-For One !
This mimi waffle maker is even smaller than I imagined. However, it’s an effective little appliance for a single person. I’ve started using it more often and it cooks as described so I can’t complain. It’s a cute, well made little waffle maker for a quick snack. I do like the brown and crisp little waffles. I will be buying a slightly larger one later but it’s a cute little waffle maker that doesn’t take up any space and it is perfect for children to make their own . I’m going to explore what else I can make in the appliance-for one!

The best little waffle maker ever
This is the cutest little waffle maker. When my grandson comes over (he is six years old) we make up a batch of batter and he has more fun making pancakes and putting sprinkles on top. It is especially easy to clean afterwards because the trays come out so they can be washed easily .I suggest any grandparent who wants to have fun with their grandchildren they need to buy this. Your grandkids will love making breakfast for you

Eggo or Kodiak DUPE Lover MUST BUY!
Wow! My partner and I are both very big fans of the protein waffles they sell at the store but are not happy with the added nonsense they use. These are the size of Eggo or the Kodiak brand protein waffles which we love! If you are looking for that size then this will work brilliantly! If you want larger ones keep looking. These are identical to Eggo of 4 inch size. Add some protein powder to your recipe for a healthy snack! You can even use these to put your burgers on as well! So not only are they fresh and warm but it’s less money on buns as well!! Make them ahead and pop them in the freezer!! Yummy! You only need 3 tablespoons of batter or it will pour over the maker. It’s brilliant! We live in a studio apartment atm and it’s size is the reason I purchased as it’s so cute and small storage space used! takes only about 60 seconds per side (i flip) to get it nice and brown & crispy! It’s a little thing but it’s sturdy if you handle it properly!

Great first impression!
I was pretty nervous to buy this, but the glowing reviews gave me the confidence to make the plunge, and I'm very glad I did! This little Mini Maker packs a powerful punch. The waffles are "mini" sized, so more or less equivalent to a frozen Eggo. Maybe they're too small for a full king-sized breakfast meal, but these "mini" waffles are perfect for me at least. I've been making my own protein muffins, pancakes, etc so I could have easy snacks to grab during busy days. I've gotten pretty darn tired of making pancakes (standing over the hot stove for a half hour flipping pancakes isn't much fun! Lol) and muffins get a bit boring after a while, so I decided to try waffles. I've never used a waffle maker in my life so I was a little nervous and unsure which one to buy (yes, I'm 27, don't judge me!) but this was a great decision. The Mini Maker is extremely easy to use. The instruction pamphlet is fairly simple and comes with a few recipes, but I used my own, and I'm happy to report they turned out perfectly on my FIRST TRY! :) Keep in mind it's very important to never touch the lid when the Mini Maker is plugged in, because the lid gets extremely hot. The instructions warn about this as well - you're supposed to ONLY touch the little handle on the front. I only had one minor issue: With my first waffle, I poured too much batter into the tray because I wasn't quite sure how much to use, and it spilled out the sides everywhere when I closed the lid. That was pretty messy since it doesn't have a spill-proof rim like other waffle makers. The instructions do explain how to clean the Mini Maker, but I didn't have any success with their method, so instead I sprayed the caked-on batter with cleaning spray and let it sit for a while, then gently scrubbed with a sponge and hot water with Dawn dish soap, being very careful not to get any water into the back section with the plug. It wasn't too difficult but it took a good 15 minutes so I docked a star for not including more effective cleaning instructions. If one plans to use the Mini Maker regularly, it's important to know how to clean it! Now for the coolest part about this thing: It only takes 2-3 minutes to cook a waffle, which is faster than my toaster can heat up a frozen Eggo!!! I'm going to make a big batch of my protein waffles and freeze them for easy snacks throughout the week! If you plan to make waffles regularly, and maybe you don't want a huge intimidating or complicated machine, the Mini Maker is perfect. It's so small and compact, it tucks away on my kitchen counter and takes up almost zero space. I think even a kid (12+) could operate the Mini Maker, as long as they were supervised the first time.

Excellent for keto-friendly 'chaffles'
This is an AWESOME little waffle maker. It creates wonderful waffles! A few things to bear in mind though. First, this is a US product, so if you're buying from another country, know that it has a US plug attached and ONLY runs on 120v. I use mine in the UK, but I have a 240v->120v transformer. If you try using this with 240v, it'll fry itself! Second, it makes a single waffle at a time. Since most waffles take 6-10 minutes to make, it takes quite a while to make batch. That isn't really a problem, you just do other kitchen stuff at the same time. If you're interested, here is my chaffle (keto friendly savoury waffle) recipe. This makes 5-6 chaffles - usually 6 for me. Per chaffle, this is ~140 calories, 11g fat, 160mg sodium, 2g carbohydrate and 8g protein. 3 (large) eggs 1 cup grated cheese 1/4 cup almond flour 1/2 tsp baking powder - Mix it all together while the waffle-making is heating. - When the waffle maker is up to temperature, place ~0.25 cup of the 'batter' onto the middle of the plate - don't be overly generous. I tend to use a little less than 0.25 cup, probably 0.2 of a cup. - Close the lid of the waffle maker and leave alone for 7-10 mins. 7 is relatively soft, 10 is more crispy. Note, don't try to press the lid down after you've added the batter. Just leave it alone and it does all the work. The lid will rise a little during the cooking, that's totally normal. Eat immediately, or leave to cool and eat cold. OR, reheat in an air fryer later to maintain (or even enhance) crispiness. They freeze well too! ENJOY!
